Unfortunately I cannot accept payment via PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, etc because I am a minor living outside of the USA (most payment services are 18+ and/or US-exclusive), so instead I accept payment via Discord Nitro gifts, Steam games, and e-giftcards. If you feel uncomfortable with this, please feel free not to commission me. 💛

Psst. Are you transmasc and a visual artist, musician, and/or author? (Or an artist of any other medium!) Reblog this post with a recent work you're proud of, or drop something in the askbox if you prefer!
I want to celebrate transmasculine art this pride month.
The only rules are A. No AI generated content (you will be blocked), and B. No explicit gore or explicit sexual content, as this blog is meant to be safe for kids. (Artistic nudity & light violence are both A-OK! Eyestrain and any potentially triggering content will be tagged!)
Me: "Damn people are REALLY BAD at knowing when to tag their eyestrain art/images...either that or they just don't care about photosenitive epileptic people like me. I feel really sad now."
Person: "But Allison, what if they just don't know or understand what qualifies as eyestrain and what doesn't?"
Me: "You know what? That could be a factor...While it is always better to be safe rather than sorry (so YES people should always tag eyestrain even if they're unsure if it "counts" or not) maybe you've got a point?"
Anyways! HERE'S YOUR HANDY GUIDE TO WHAT CAN COUNT AS EYESTRAIN! I'm pulling this straight from the Artfight rules page about what needs to be labeled and filtered as eyestrain because it's VERY helpful and VERY accurate! I also know not everybody has an AF account and might not always have access to this handy guide, and this is an important resource; That's why I'm sharing it here! (under the cut)
PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!!! THIS IS ABOUT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OTHERS!!!
Full eyestrain AF page link
"But Allison! How were you able to screenshot that example if you're so sensitive to eyestrain?"
I dimmed the HELL out of my computer screen and looked away while taking the screenshot and did the same when putting it into this post, that's how lol. BUT YEAH ANYWAYS!!! Once again:
PLEASE TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!!! THIS IS ABOUT THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OTHERS!!!
image 1: table titled Cheat Sheet. On the left is the Needs Filtering column, which contains the following items: Large amounts of bright colors, including backgrounds; High contrast bright colors; Chromatic abberation; Optical illusions; Fast-flashing or bright animations; and Intense glowing effects. On the right is the Doesn't Need Filtering column which contains the following: Small amounts of bright colors, Slow flashing animation (under 3 per second), and Minor glowing effects.
image 2: A set of 6 examples under the title Visual Guide to Eyestrain filters. All use the same base drawing of a grey person with big eyes.
The first is labelled Small amounts of bright colors with a check mark under the title. The person has a splash of cyan on one hand and a splash of magenta on one leg.
The second is labelled High contrast or bright colors with a warning sign under the text. The person has stripes of bright contrasting colours across the torso.
The third is labelled Bright/neon backgrounds with a warning sign under the text. The person is standing in front of a magenta rectangle.
The fourth is Chromatic abberation or glitch effects with a warning sign under the text. On one side of the body there is a magenta outline with horizontal glitch lines into and out of the body. On the other side the same style with cyan.
The fifth is Intense glow with a warning sign. The person's eyes and heart have a large bright cyan glow effect around them.
The final is Clashing patterns & optical illusions, with a warning symbol. The person has a black, yellow and cyan checker-board pattern on one leg and a spiral optical illusion pattern on one arm.
online numbers can really fuck you up when it comes to your creative work because you're sharing something you worked on with all your heart but it's very important to remember there's actual people behind those numbers. even if it's 1. that's one whole actual person. that's a human being who said "haha nice". that's a connection with a REAL person with a REAL life and REAL thoughts and feelings and experiences. like. damn. that should mean something
decided to draw Sgian :) started before getting the new robe shown in the most recent photomodes, so hence the default sorcerer robe instead. future art is most likely going to include different outfits though!!
hii!! this is my bg3 durge run blog, i'll post art of Sgian there and reblog it to here most likely, i'd appreciate if you followed but no pressure ofc.
no matter what i'd reblog them to here and my art blog (lemons-and-art), but having a separate blog just for podfic would mean that they could be more organised. not super urgent for a few reasons, and if i change my mind later i can reblog older podfic there, but i might be easier to make a new blog rn?
