Most recent make: fingerless gloves for my dad.
Made using the pattern Pioneer Gloves by Bohoknits with Yarn from Bendigo Woolen Mills
(rest of the outfit is thrifted)
Stash busting: I've collected a lot of sock yarn for someone who has never knit socks before. Thought I'd make a dent in it but somehow the two skeins I got from this op shop were only 25g each? Which I only realised after casting on?? So I have one sock. And one cuff that will turn absolutely garish as I use other sock scraps that come in to my life to finish this.
I have a legitimately confounding amount of mending that I'm not sure I've ever been able to process in between the rest of my life: I know I have the skills to repair and theoretically the imagination to transform the things that break, but I haven't had the time or energy for nearly four years now. I very seriously want this to not be something I am carrying with me so much at the end of this year.
There isn’t enough time to do everything. i need my own pace. This life isn’t natural
