Dearest people who follow this blog,
All I ask of you is politeness. I am neither a historian, nor a dress-maker, nor English is my native language. I live in a highly-censored country, and making a post here on Tumblr might seem a piece of cake to some, but searching for content while half of it is blocked by the outside world and the other half is blocked by my own government is difficult. I make mistakes. I make typos. Sometimes I have to resort to using second-hand sources because I can't reach the original source, but I want to share something that caught my fancy with you.
All I ask of you is understanding and politeness. Some people are kind when they correct me (I'm very thankful to them), but there was many a time when people would be rude and condescending in the tags, reblogs and comments. This blog is a hobby, and I do not get any money for posting here.
Please, don't make me abandon my hobby (which is an important part of my life) by being rude and discouraging in my blog. If you think I made a mistake in the dates or something like that - you can always gently notify me about it in private messages or in an anonymous ask.
Just please, don't be rude or condescending. There's nothing more saddening and discouraging than 'actually' followed by some additions in the tags and comments.
Much love,
jewellery-box
