Lennox was in love with all the outdoor activities the town had and just how gorgeous it was in Bridgeport. She didn’t expect it by any means, but truly loved it with every passing day. max, her husky, loved it just as much and the two were currently walking through the park when she walked by a girl and smiled at her. “Hey, I like your top.” She complimented the woman like she usually did when she saw something she liked. “It matches your eyes well.”

It was funny how much Maine reminded her of Washington. While there were obvious differences, she felt a sense of home there for the first in what felt like too long and she was hoping this reconnection with her sister would finish that for her. But for now, it was the fact she could drive her van up to the the pond and get her stuff out to fish. Max was following her through the trail to the pond. As she saw the water, the husky barked and she told him to quiet as she saw a guy there. “Sorry. He’s friendly, just likes to make an entrance. Like me.” Lennox laughed and moved down from where the guy was so she wouldn’t disturb him while fishing either. “I promise he’ll stay out of the way and so will I.” She smirked as she put her sunglasses on after putting down her chair, tacklebox, and pole.

Since he lived nearby, Jamey often walked to the old diner in his neighborhood for lunch on his days off. It was always cheap and good eating, so the male figured why not. After walking into the diner and taking his usual spot on a bar stool at the counter, Jamey sipped the coke the waitress put in front of him and looked at the female sitting nearby. “You’re not a familiar face. You new in town?” He asked, shooting her a friendly and goofy smile that he always had.

So far out of all the places she tried in town, the Messdeck was a place she was loving. After taking Max for a walk, she got him set up with his dinner and water before heading inside the diner. Lennox ordered some food for herself before she sat and took a drink before looking over as the boy down from her started talking to her. “Actually, I have been a hermit since I was five. I never really went outside and was homeschooled but it’s been almost 20 years so I figured what the hell? I should come outside.” The blonde said seriously before smiling. “However, there is a good chance I’m actually from Washington and just moved here.” She shrugged at him. “Either one.”

Finishing another afternoon at the marina, Shelby planned on heading back to her shared rental, maybe cook some Ramen and Watch the sports channel with one of her roommates, unless Ronnie had the remote, then it would be a rom com. She was steering clear of her mom‘s house for now, after having gone over the other day to make sure her brother was staying out of trouble since getting released. She was just about to head for her truck when she saw the girl waving. Guessing what had happened, she nodded and came over. “That’s looks rough.. I’ve got a Jack in my truck. I can get this changed for you, no sweat. Do you have a spare hidden away? If not I can loan you my donut..” She offered, smiling slightly before she turned to grab her tools. “Where are you headed?”

A sigh of relief came from her as the girl came over to her and smiled before looking at the tire. “Ugh, it is, but karma finally caught up with me.” Lennox shrugged before looking back at the woman. “Yeah, I do. I just don’t have my tools handy. I don’t even know if I have them or left them during the move.” She really wasn’t sure. So much had happened then. “I was heading back to the RV spot I have rented out. This is actually my home.” She explained to her. “I was supposed to get the tires changed before I moved out here, but... life happened. But you’re not here to hear my whole life story. You’re just helping me out.”

When she got the van she lived in, it was definitely a fixer upper, but with the held of friends and her dad, she got it up and running and was planning to live in it full time after the summer. She knew she needed to get new tires and stuff for it, but then tragedy struck and she had other things to do. Lennox felt lucky that the van made it to Maine from Washington, but when she heard the pop of the tire when she was driving around to head home, she got out and stared at it knowing that this would’ve happened. However, she was now in a quieter part of town and wasn’t sure if anyone would be out there. Or if anyone would find her. She was going to call a tow, which she didn’t want to do, when someone was coming up and she waved to them. “Hey! Could you help?”

It had been a week since Lennox pulled into town in her van, and still no sign of Juliet. She really underestimated this town and thought that maybe, she’d find her sister in a few hours, not days later. She was starting to become doubtful that the woman was even there anymore. Thinking that made her heart hurt. She was missing her mom and dad so much and she just wanted her sister in hopes that some of this pain would go away. After driving around a little, her husky, Max, was getting restless in the van so she parked and started walking the streets of Bridgeport. They were coming across the brewery in town and Max was sniffing the air because of the food. She sighed and gave him a little tug. “Come on. We’re not stopping for food.” She said and moved just as she bumped into someone. “Oh, I’m...” She stopped as she looked up and her heart filled with relief. “Juliet.”
