Edward had to raise his eyebrow at the alcohol selection she chose. Was she looking to get completely hammered before the night even started? God, he was dreading tonight. He was hoping she wasn’t one of those disgusting drunks who went around groping everyone and everything she laid eyes on. The gentleman that was rarely inside him wanted to question her choice of liquor, but instead, he ignored it. What was the point? She already had put in the order and already the bartender was serving it up.

He decided to go with a practical drink that consisted of just a tall glass of beer. Something to get him feeling warm inside, because let’s face it, the night was still young. His eyes darted from the bartender back at Lennox. Edward could tell when someone was eyeing someone he was with. He called it just an intuition, but majority of the time, he was right on his hunches. He leaned closer towards the brunette and arched his brow at her. “That guy seems to can’t take his eyes off of you. I doubt it’s the dress.” He protested.

Edward turned on his stool and glanced over at the drink that was handed to him by a different bartender, a female, and she smiled back at Lennox with her order. After the woman had left, it was just the two of them, surrounded by a group of already drunken moronic civilians.

She could tell he was judging her. She figured it was probably her drink choice. She could handle her alcohol though. She figured she'd let it be. Maybe after they got their drinks or some thing. She'd even show him. Her grandparents taught her how to handle her alcohol so she could show somebody.

She knew some pair of eyes were on her but she didn't want to look. She didn't want to see who was looking at her. She knew she was to be here with Edward and she wasn't going to disrespect him. Then he told her. "Oh. Him. He's a sleaze bag. Don't worry about it."

She saw the lady bartender bring their drinks and pulled out her fake ID. The lady didn't even seem to study it. She handed it back right away and handed Lennox the drink. She took a small sip then named the last president before the Assembly's take over. "I can stay at least half way sober the whole night by that. My grandparents taught me how. Name all the US presidents. From the last to the first. I can handle my drink, Edward."
