“Raelynn is as stubborn as a bull as well. She won’t do what she doesn’t want to do and believes what she believes very strongly. It’s nothing on you. You ever try to make her go on a Ferris wheel? She refuses. Shes absolutely terrified of them.”
Another chip repaired within her soul. They were at an amusement park, something that neither of them has ever done.
Raelynn dragged her on all the rollercoasters, as giddy as a kid in a candy store, but the Ferris wheel? She stared at it like it might roll over and kill her that instant.
Natalie tugged on her arm, “C’mon, let’s go on that one!”
She stood rigid and shook her head, “no, no, we shouldn’t. The line is long.”
She could recognize that expression from a mile away but she was certainly confused to say the least. She could go upside down but not on a Ferris wheel..?
“Rae, are you scared right now?”
“No!” She exclaimed louder than she meant to before clearing her throat. “I mean, no, it’s just…look at it!”
She chuckled, “I am looking at it. It looks lovely.”
“I’m just not,” she scoffed.
She tugged her arm again, “I’ll massage your shoulders later. I know your muscles always get so tense.”
“Hell to the no,” even if that was tempting.
She sighed with a playful grin, “Alright, you win.”
