i keep forgetting to use this tumblr i posted chapter 11 last week! this week will be chapter 12...ive been doing other stuff in the meantime and writing ahead. good writings indeed

hey i posted chapter 10 of lestaria: depart a week ago and forgot to post about it.

I admit...have been going thru it lately. ive, due to pacing reasons with the amount one chapter a week adds up to have decided to move to posting every other sunday instead of Every Sunday! hopefully this will make it so the gap between major installments is smaller too, since im writing ahead on the next installment while depart is done...

i may also try to post other things in between here just so its not me yelling into the void. regardless, i hope someone enjoys what i have out there

Back when I was a teenager, I posted a tiny little webnovel. Titled Lestaria, I posted roughly the first 'segment' of the story, a bit of the second one, then became frustrated with the inadequate writing and took it all down to go for a second try.

That proceeded to take ten whole years. But here we are!

The official title for this rewrite is Lestaria: Depart from the Harbor of Memories. I've been posting new chapters around 12 PM PDT every Sunday. I'll post links here and like...other stuff. Maybe. Sometimes.

You can see the summary here, but if you want a quick elevator pitch...if you're interested in digging deep into characters, ensemble casts, messy relations and even more messy, morally complex people, you might like this. If that's not enough: detailed world-building with a focus on a world who believes in their own power, a society built around people who never die and a world that never changes.

We're seven chapters in now. The entirety of Depart is already written, if that's appealing to you. All that's left is to post it.
