Hi @taylorswift @taylornation! My name is Valerie, I’m almost 19, and I have been your fan ever since your first album. One of my first concerts was the Speak Now tour, and your music quite literally got me through middle and high school. 

I have six chronic illnesses, and because of that, I’ve faced a lot of challenges, including some pretty severe bullying and ostracization. Your music has always inspired me to rise above my challenges, focus on the love and good in my life, and dare to dream big. Throughout my hospitalizations, procedures, transplant recovery, and even just the bad days, your music has always been there to cheer me up and remind me that anything is possible.

I will be celebrating my birthday with my family at the Reputation tour in Nashville on August 25th in Sec 115, Row E, Seats 8-11. Due to one of my illnesses, I can’t be in the heat or stand for long periods of time, so I won’t be able to get in line outside before the show. However, I would love more than anything to meet you after the show and personally thank you for everything!!!
