▸ IS YOUR MUSE TALL / SHORT / AVERAGE ?
aravir is rather tiny . standing at about 5′0″ ( 152.4cm ) .
▸ ARE THEY OKAY WITH THEIR HEIGHT ?
not too often. she wishes she was taller, a little more imposing. aravir doesn’t think people take her too seriously for many reasons and one is her height. she’s small and unassuming and lacking in muscle.
▸ WHAT’S THEIR HAIR LIKE ?
very, very long. she often pulls it back into braids, generally a long side braid that ends up tied into her signature bun. she doesn’t consider cutting her hair until after the final fight against corypheus. a symbol of change, or growth ( though accompanied by depressive episodes it’s a toss up on whether this would be a positive thought to her or a negative one ). she often has leaves or branches stuck in her hair from her walks through the woods ( when she can escape ofc )
▸ DO THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THEIR HAIR / GROOMING ?
yes and no. aravir would spend hours braiding it in some cases. she likes the way it feels in her finger tips. but she also tends to go days with leaving it up in her braid and bun.
▸ DOES YOUR MUSE CARE ABOUT THEIR APPEARANCE / WHAT OTHERS THINK ?
she pretends she doesn’t. even going as far as to say she really only cares what those close to her think. but that’s not true. she wants to be loved, liked and attended to. she hates halamshiral not only for what it meant to her people, but because orlais has no problems belittling her for being an elf and a mage.

judging others for what she wishes she wasn’t judged for, bottling up her emotions, over analyzing everything, she chews her nails when she’s nervous, is often very quick to temper, post inquisition she’s very emotional and takes out her emotions on some unlucky soul.
▸ HAS YOUR MUSE LOST ANYONE CLOSE TO THEM ? HOW HAS IT AFFECTED THEM ?
she lost her parents rather young. her mother she lost to sickness when she was just 4 and her father a year later while he was out hunting. these losses, while she doesn’t necessarily remember them, ended up shaping her into the girl she was. aravir blamed her fathers death on shems, even as there was no proof who had attacked the hunting party ( only one person out of the 3 returned that day and he didn’t last over night ).
▸ WHAT ARE SOME FOND MEMORIES YOUR MUSE HAS ?
sitting before her keeper with the rest of the children in their clan, listening to the stories of their past. greeting varric and solas at the rift following her imprisonment. haven, where they would find themselves time to relax when they could. standing in the rotund as solas filled her head with stories of his travels to the fade. listening to vivienne speak about her life in the circle as she imagined grand halls and not the prisons most mages spoke of. finding cassandra reading one of varrics novels and getting him to finish the next one for her, watching her stoic face light up. pranking cullen’s office with sera, who she never quite got along with until that moment.
▸ IS IT EASY FOR YOUR MUSE TO KILL ?
no. but she brings herself comfort in doing all that she can for after. burying like blood as they would clansmen. she may hold a grudge against humans but even their life is not taken easily. eventually she learns to block it out, but aravir is still haunted by her first kill decades later.
▸ WHAT’S IT LIKE WHEN YOUR MUSE BREAKS DOWN ?
silent. you can see it on her face, the tears don’t stop and they stain her cheeks. but when you look in her eyes you see emptiness, like her soul has left her body and she’s just an empty shell. she doesn’t yell or sob, not audibly. it’s a sever form dissociation and she chooses isolation rather than allow anyone to experience it for themselves.
▸ IS YOUR MUSE CAPABLE OF TRUSTING SOMEONE WITH THEIR LIFE ?
yes. it takes awhile. the first person she ever trusted with her life was linni, her sister. the next, solas, and she’s not entirely sure why either. the apostate status certainly helped and the fact he was elven. dorian, she isn;t sure why she ended up liking him so much, why they bonded so quickly, but he’s the one person she turns to when she’s in trouble.
▸ WHAT’S YOUR MUSE LIKE WHEN THEY’RE IN LOVE ?
she’s hesitant. unsure of herself, of how comfortable her partner is. it’s a fragile sort of thing she has to nurture, cradle and water to grow. when she’s comfortable it’s like a forest fire. it consumes her, all she wants is to make that person happy, to make them see themselves from her eyes which is always weighted with adoration. she doesn’t use words to put herself out there and relies on trust, actions and the statements you can see deep in her eyes if you were to just look.
