Making a post about this was the last thing I wanted to do
Recently two of my animations have been taken and reposted without my permission. At first I wasn't too upset, the person didn't blur my watermark, I just wanted them to credit me in the comments/description. I left comments and DM'd them asking to do so and ask permission next time. Screenshots below.
However this person removed my comments and has not replied to my message. I was just asking for credit, which I think is the bare minimum if you're going to take my work and use it without asking. I honestly 100% would have let it slide if they just credited me, but apparently that was too much work for them.
The only platform I posted the nasty dog animation meme was on Tumblr, so whoever it is has to be on here. I only post on Tumblr because this site, unlike other platforms has only been nice and welcoming, I've made friends and a good close one just from this community. I'm really disappointed to have been proven wrong. Guys, please don't repost my art without permission.
In addition, someone else on tiktok has been using @lethalpuppets art as well.
I don't really know what to do about this, but I think it would help if you guys left a comment or dmmed them or something.
Art thief if you're seeing this, I'm disappointed, be better, please.
Lastly, if you (viewer) ever experience this, DM me, even if we aren't mutuals, I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
ALSO DONT HARASS ANYONE, including this thief, 😭😭 That is not what I want or encourage at all!!! I just want rightful credit for my hard work!! (30+ hours on each of these animations...)
