Equality

Since there has been a lot of talk about equality recently, here's my stance: it is STUPID that old male politicians have the mentality that they know what's best for America. Everyone is equal according to human law and the Constitution. Everyone should do whatever makes them happy. In other words, to quote Frank Ocean, "Marriage isn't between a man and woman, but between love and love". That's my rant.

Frustration

It's crazy how society puts a limit on our generation. Once able to go for the American Dream, we are forced to submit to student loans, often causing our brightest talent to be limited. What's worse is when ambition does not equal success. One may be able to be ambitious but lack the means of getting success even if it's an arbitrary situation. My biggest fear is the possibility of graduating from such an amazing university and being subjected to living a life of mediocrity, plainness, and conformity. Where is the hope when the future looks so bleak? Anyways...I will continue what I do and urge our generation to do what we do best: persevere, experience, adapt, and remain ambitious. We live in a global world, and connecting with other cultures and remaining creative is the key to a fulfilling life. This is my little rant for today.
