Welcome to Let’s Draw Star Trek!

Calling all artists! This month’s theme is Disney Crossover!- Draw your favorite Star Trek character in a Disney scenario, or your favorite Disney character in Star Trek!

Examples include:

Jim singing ‘Let It Go‘ and getting ejected from the ship

Khan Noonien Singh as Sleeping Beauty (No, somebody do it)

Buzz Lightyear versus the Borg!

Guidelines:

You can draw any Trek character(s) from any Trek series, as well as anyone Disney (I mean, you can technically do Marvel if you want, but we’d prefer you stick to standard Disney)

You can do this however you’d like! If you want to spend a good deal of time or not much at all on your entry, that’s fine! :)

My mom teaches elementary kids in content mastery. It always makes me happy to hear her stories about how those kids are improving their reading and math. I think Chapel would be all about helping the Federation’s kiddos do the same!

Celebrating Leonard Nimoy

Your mods are deeply saddened by Mr. Nimoy’s passing. We’re both having a really hard time coming up with the right words right now, with any words at all. But Leonard Nimoy was a lover of art in all forms, and we’re not putting out an official prompt but we would love for you to share your tributes with us.

We’re here as a community to mourn with you, and to celebrate the life of this wonderful man.

Let's Draw Star Trek is under new management! schrodingerskat and I, (poetry-draws) are working together to bring back the fun!

We are rebooting the challenge for March! If you have any ideas for prompts, we'd love to hear them! The March Challenge and rules will be issued sometime around the 1st or 2nd! Keep an eye out, and keep boldly going, folks!
