Apologies

Hello dear friends, my deepest apologies for being gone for so long, it happened that one of my old friends decided to take me on a small trip, so for the weeks of my absence I have been chatting to old friends and making new ones. I hope that I may be more consistent in my posting from now on.

I have also made purchase of a Netflix account, so my friends can press upon me the films they have been watching using this service.

I have been informed that an old friend of mine has made the purchase of a smart phone.

This news was broken to me when he called me up last night, saying he obtained my number from M. He greatly disturbed my plans for the night, and I wish that he could have called me up in the morning instead, when I had been planning on nothing more than going on a short stroll.

To anyone who may come across this post.

Tell me, dear reader, do you prefer to eat bread made with white flower, or rye? depending on your answers I may make that kind of bread to show you.

The house I currently reside in has a rather small kitchen, so I would be making good on my promise to show you my Bread Machine.

A Mistake

It has come to my attention, through my dear friend M, that I needn't start all of my posts with "Dear, Internet" and I need not sign them all. I must apologize for the redundancies I have caused, and will soon quit my tomfoolery.

On the subject of garlic.

Garlic is one of those spices that is universally loved, even by Vampires. Now, It may be surprising to you, dear reader, because you may have heard that garlic is a detriment to us, But that is a misconception. We are only affected by the flowers of the garlic, and that only in large amounts. So we are still able to eat that best loved plant.

Dear, Internet

The most glorious invention of humanity must surely have been the house bread machine. Never has bread been so easy to make. No longer is bread dominated by those who have the time to watch it, nor the bakers and factory workers. Now one can place all of their ingredients into the machine, and leave it there for as long as the bread takes.

Soon, Internet, I shall have to show you my favorite recipe to make in a bread machine.

A note on the word "Vampire."

It is considered rather disrespectful in Vampiric circles to use "vampire" with the "V" in lowercase, as "Vampire" is the name of our species and culture. It is not dissimilar to how one might say "England" rather than "england."

So when you go to type Vampire, just remember how you should write it.

Dear, Internet

My dear friend - who I shall call “M” here until she says I may reveal her Identity - has been pestering me to get an account on this website since first she heard of it. Her reasoning was that she would rather enter the webpage with a friend already beside her. 

Her blog is listed here as @bun-bun-buttercup and I’m sure it will be lovely, so to all who read this please go to her blog as well. 

Now the reason it took the both of us so long to join, As you may well be able to gather, I am rather old, it may surprise you, dear reader, that I am in fact 612 years of age. The reason I have grown to such antiquity is due to the fact that I was gifted eternal life right on the cusp of the years 1399 and 1400 (by your Gregorian calendar). Although the life I was granted is none too similar to that which you would be familiar with, you see dear reader, I was bitten at the neck, and had my blood thusly drained by a Vampire, turning me to their ranks. 

As a Vampire I reckoned that nobody would like or sympathize with me, and so for years I wrote letters for nobody, to, of course, no avail. but M figured that if I had a better outlet I would be able to... move past some things in my past.

I was rather apprehensive at first, the Internet not being something I have had previous experience with, and I feel as though my life, however long, has been somewhat mundane. M has since convinced me otherwise, so now I pledge to share my memories to the internet, perhaps they may be of some interest or help to you.

With this sentiment I shall leave you.
