i do love how years of engineering and tragic deaths and brave brave terribly lonely people isolating themselves to help run a beacon so sailors don't crash to their death are what made lighthouses what they are only for me and a handfull of others to save little illustrations of lighthouses and lookbooks of sweaters and cups of tea and knitted socks to our little pinterest boards called "lighthousecore <3" as if it's just a cute little lifestyle
and i'm not ashamed of it also

So i listened to all of WTNV in a month, TMA in three weeks (+ one day for TMAGP), and Malevolent in two weeks. Conclusion: i am a god and i must be fed. So my question is:

Forget hot girl summer, it’s raven boy summer this year. Go make extremely codependent new friends. Go awaken an ancient evil. Go, uh… murder your Latin teacher. Have fun!!
anyone?
i am thoroughly enjoying much ado about nothing. these people saw a man and a woman who hate each other so so much and went you know what you're both horrible. you're equally horrible. you know what you should do. you should kiss.
have we had a proper conversation yet about how Herman Melville used the Only One Bed Trope in Moby Dick. it literally sets off the entire plot. the only one bed trope is crucial to this grand tale of monomania and whale hunting encyclopedia.
ok i havent seey anyone takj about this yet. UHM SAM???? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE PAPER WORK IS COMPELLING YOU,WHAT DO YOI MEAN BY THAT BUD?!?? WHY USE THAT SPECIFIC WORD IN THIS SPECIFIC SERIES REGARDING THAT SPECIFIC PLACE????
oh Jonnathan Sims you are having me turn every rock in this podcast, even if some have a fire ant best under them. You too Alexander J. Newall
anyone else who read the night circus constantly having to stop themselves from imagining celia from tmp wearing a victorian ballgown and a little hat. or no.
Season 1: "The girl knew that killing her young sister- even though it had been undone in every way that mattered- could never be forgiven, and it haunted her to the end of her days."
Season 6: "God damn it the fucking toaster fucking rickrolled me again"
A scene from a road trip through the American Northwest, 1960.

Hi! Absolutely love the podcast! Here’s a weird question: do we know the Sea’s preferred pronouns?
At one point there was a bit in the script where this was addressed, but I decided the episode was already had enough weird little rabbit holes and the pacing felt like it was treading water so it got trimmed out.
The vibe is that, most of the time, the Sea wouldn't even understand the question. The Sea is so different from us that there just isn't common ground to find an answer. After all, when the Head Of Retrieval used "It" to refer to the sea, that isn't derogatory- we call the sea "it" in real life, and he just doesn't know what to do with this new "Sea".
But if it thinks hard about the subject, the answer is probably that the Sea is genderfluid, using It/its for the most part but maybe using they/them if the former souls of humanity are close to the surface.
i've hit a vein of creativity in my brain mine and now i'm going to drown myself in illustrated poetry
@the-mistholme-museum's daniel.
Good things come to those who wait.
On an unrelated note, Season 6 of Mistholme begins on Patreon this week, next week on the free feed!
Thanks for your patience, I hope it was worth the wait. Here's a bit of a refresher to catch you up on things:
There’s an angel just below your diaphragm. One day, you’ll be in the middle of the street, and its wings will unfurl, and you’ll know. It’s Melanie King Monday.
