☆ BIOGRAPHY ☆ Born in Southern California to parents that lived a nomad live style as surfers. Leya’s life was far from lacking adventure. It had even became something she craved when the family finally settled in Northern California while she was in high school where they bought a small vineyard and became a decently well known winery. With her two older brothers Leya became deeply enriched in surfing, skateboarding, and cars. She fell in love with the ocean and constantly being in motion from an early age.

With a small stint as a travel journalist and vlogger to get her away from home. Leya found herself in multiple relationships along the way but the one that has got to her the most was her engagement in Arizona. It was something she thought she was ready for but definitely had not been. Calling it off and leaving the guy behind. Settling down was definitely a big scare for her but this guy was willing to travel around with her. Her journey had to continue without him. Traveling around the world to places she had always wanted to go and picking up odd jobs here and there.

She found herself in Whiskey Flats, no stranger to occasional romances Leya was used to leaving a line of potential heart break behind her. A flirt but someone who typically likes to remain friends, Leya is back from her four year sailing adventures from the Bahamas to Canary Islands and back again before coming back to Whiskey Flats for a bit of a break. Mostly to give her now three year old son, Roux, the Roo to her Kanga, a bit of a break from sea life and a hint of normalcy. Though life with Leya is anything but normal she wants to give Roux as much possibilities in life as possible while also still enjoying her own life.

Colt shook his head but was unable to hide the laughter that rose up at the thought of selling himself harder than he already was in trying to save up the money he needed for his own shop. "It was definitely olive oil with black food coloring. The lengths they go to for what? To come in an' waste my time an' their money so I can take a look at their engine?" Colt wasn't complaining when they helped keep the lights on for him at the shop, but there were days when it was ridiculous to see what they come in with. "If I go an' do all that, then you know that's the only kind of clients I'd get in here. No one would take me seriously." They barely did anyways, but selling posters of himself would only continue that image of him for everyone.

She shook her head, "black food coloring," She laughed but smiled, "they didn't waste their time though. Maybe you should get a side gig at Rattlesnake's too. I'm sure we're looking for male dancers too. You could cut a good check." She smirked, clearly teasing him. She pointed to his face, "they'd pay you to just wear that." Leya shrugged, "People would still take you seriously. I mean when something really did mess up on those women's cars you would have a loyal clientele. On top of you being good at what you do too, you'd have it made. Plus, from just my own personal check, if they've known you all your life, know where you live, and know who you are pretty damn well. They trust you a little bit more even if you think they don't." She shrugged going back to her work, "after all, they know where to find you if you fuck it up and they want to beat your ass."

Javi found himself sitting at the bar, wanting to be out and around people but not always having to be social, plus alcohol was never a bad thing at the moment. He turned to face the person who had started talking to him and he raised an eyebrow. "Oh, totally fine. The shows are fine and all, but I'm just really enjoying the alcohol right now." He smirked as he turned to look at the dancer before turning back around, shrugging his shoulders. "I don't know...you look pretty fun yourself." He took the bottle. "Thanks, appreciate it."

"Just don't make it where I have to cut you off." She smirked, "or get the bouncer to kick you out." Her brows raising and she ran her tongue across her teeth, stopping the cleaning she had started to put her attention on him, "oh really? I mean I can be pretty fun, but I came here to make drinks. Not entertain the crowd." She teased before shaking her head, "You're welcome. So you a local or you got a whole travel story thing to go with those good looks?"

It sounded better than she could have imagined, to find a way to turn her brain off and relax to something that she wouldn't normally watch. Logan shot the other a grateful smile when they passed the tacos. "I'm good," she replied with a shake of her head. "I'll take a water or maybe a diet coke if you have one." Because she needed to stay away from alcohol as much as possible even though it'd been a numbing agent in the early days of Tyler's accident. Now she had to deal with everything stone cold sober. "What would you recommend watching? The most mind numbing show out there?" She spoke with a lightness in her tone, trying to shift the conversation back towards easier topics than the one her mind was going to travel down if left alone.

Leya nodded and got up to get the water for them. "Don't really drink Diet Coke on tap here." She laughed before her brows pulled together. "I'd say some reality show. One with cat fights or something. Do they still make that Bad Girls Club show?" She laughed, "I don't watch much, but we can figure something out. I'm not gonna lie though I love a good show with fights in it. They get entertaining." She opened her her tacos and her brows creased, "I heard there's some guy here that won a tv show? My brothers asked me about it. Apparently one of their wives watched the show."

"Or a pirate? The next Jack Sparrow, maybe," Liv mused. She smiled as Leya tenderly ruffled Roux's hair. Some of locks of his hair stood up in little downy tufts; 'duck fluff' that was the phrase Allie used to describe Eugene's hair when he was small. Liv could hardly remember those days anymore, but moments like these made them come rushing back with a bittersweet taste. "Y'all should come by one afternoon -- I have some leeks I want to plant. But another day when we both need less coffee to function and its an acceptable time to have a few glasses of wine," Liv winked, then took another sip out of her mug. "Did you ever decide on if you wanted to go to Furward anytime soon? Or was it Mason who said that?"

"A pirate, for sure," her brows raising at Roux who was even more excited now, bouncing a little in his seat, before Leya's attention turned back to Liv. "You know, we should just build a garden to share or something. Make it easier on both of us. We could drink wine and plant." She laughed but her brows pulled together, "I think Mason but I mean, I'd gladly go too."

Oliver had been begging Mason to go to the park with Roux and he had finally been able to take the 3 year old to the park as promised. He walked up after getting to the playground, smiling as he saw the familiar mother and son sitting on the swings. He took Ollie over towards them as watched as the boys ran off to another play structure and he waved towards Leya. He would be forever grateful that Ollie had Roux in his life. He was worried about the move and he knew Oliver didn't want to leave his friends so to have the friend in Roux let Mason relax a bit. He moved to sit on the swing next to Leya. "I don't think I have been on a swing since I was in grade school."

"Then you need to get out more, Mason." She smirked, "I'm kind of shocked Ollie doesn't ask you to swing with him. Roux used to love sitting in my lap swinging, he hated the baby swings." She laughed watching the boys take to their idea they had dreamt up. "So, hows it been? You two adjusting okay? You need anything?" Her brows raising as her attention turned back to him.

"I'm not in a position to say no." Alana was at the mercy of the people who drove by or service, unless she got smart and begun to walk, but that probably wasn't an option now that she lost so much time. "It's a flat tire and I don't have a spare so a ride is probably what I'm in need of."

"Alright, hop in then." She smiled before thinking for a minute. Her brows raising as the tow truck pulled up and she instructed for them to follow her. "We're gonna get you fixed up. Luckily I had just dropped off the munchkin at work." She smiled, "school, he calls it his work, they're gonna follow us to the shop and I'll get your tire fixed up for you. Shouldn't take long I just don't have everything here." She said with a smile. "Oh uh.." She flipped down the glove box and smiled, "Roux likes the top off when it's hot so uh.. if you need to pull your hair up I got extra hair ties."

"Hello?!" She said after knocking only the door laughing as Roux copied her. Her brows raising at June once she answered the door. "Hey, you! You said you had something to talk to me about. Hope you don't mind my tag along." She said pointing at Roux, "he shouldn't cause much mayhem, I swear. He's investigating." Her eyes rolled knowing her son jumped between occupations though his favorite was pirate, occasionally he would be a spy.

"I try not to think about the reasons why people pull in here other than knowing that I've got what they need," he spoke without thinking as the words caught up to him eventually as Colt shook his head. "That's not what I meant to say but you know what I meant." It was hard to deny that some of the people that came back didn't seem to care what was wrong with their car, but would rather spend their time watching him work but it meant more work for him. It would eventually lead to him owning the shop or one like it which was all that mattered to him, even if he couldn't help the way that Leya spoke about their real reasons. "I feel like if we started to make posters, then this is gonna change from an actual shop to a... I don't even know actually. That's how turned around you got me 'bout all this," he joked.

Her brows rose and she smirked, "you got what they need, alright." She chuckled she had seen the women and some of the men eyeing Colt. "You can't take it back now. You set it up perfectly. Besides that one woman the other day said she had an oil leak... she literally just poured oil over the engine, you said. Didn't you even say it was like olive oil or something?" She wasn't laughing at the woman not knowing how vehicles worked, she understood some people just didn't get it. It was more the desperation to get Colt to work on her car. "You have to admit the posters would sell like crazy. You could easily go get your shop then. You could have that one song playing all the time. Body shop?"

"Can't say that I can relate," she commented, unsure of what else to say without stepping into territory that she wasn't completely ready to announce to the world yet. It would happen sooner rather than later, considering all the ways that she'd already had to step away from her comforts and get away from old habits. "Though I'm sure that you're doing just fine with him. He looks happy an' I think that's all that matters in the end, right?" Logan shrugged, trying her best to smile through her own insecurities as she nodded. "It does sound relaxing." And very different than how she usually spent her nights.

Leya nodded passing tacos over to logan with a smile, "yeah, that's all I want is him happy and willing to try whatever he wants to. I want him to have a mind of his own. Which he does." Her brows rose ands he smiled, "it would be pretty nice to just watch some shit tv and sip wine together. Mind numbingly relaxing." She laughed, "you need anything with those? Sour cream or something? Oh shit! A drink?"

Thanks to a drunken night at Rattlesnakes, Jay now found himself at the Silver Dollar on a weeknight, all because he had stupidly agreed to drinks. "You're lucky I like you, Leya. Not many people can fuck with my routine like you," he teased, bumping his shoulder lightly against hers. If he truly minded, then he would have canceled, but he liked her. You had to have spunk to work behind a bar at a strip joint, and she had that in buckets. "What am I buying you?" He then asked as they sat at the bar, a familiar face waiting to serve them. Tonight could be a fun distraction from the hell that was his life right now.

Leya's brows raised, "oh, now you like me?" She laughed tossing back a shot and sliding him one too. "Fucking with your routine? You do realize I'm normally back home by now? Snuggled up with a child." She shook her head, "whatever you want, big shot since we just finished the round of shots I bought." She teased before they made their way back to the bar, "just don't pull any twenty questions, that's the lamest pick up move I've ever seen any pull. I know you're better than that."

"If not for him, I'd fight you on that," Liv teased. Despite the headache Liv still had enough of her wits to joke. The promise of caffeine helped, too. She took a sip out of the mug and examined little Roo with a soft smile. "I know you're probably exhausted, but I do think the fact that you took him to Waffle House shows that he's persuasive. Maybe -- you have a future lawyer on your hands," Liv said, digging through her purse for something for a headache. "I'll be alright. Just been trying to shake this headache for a few days, you? One of us should be awake enough to drive in a bit back to the block."

"A little lawyer or a little time thief." She chuckled ruffling her son's hair as he fought to finish his waffle. "That sounds like hell. Clearly you need rest more than I do. Been doing good, decided to start gardening. Roux prefers playing in the dirt." She laughed, "Soon as I get the coffee you order and we get at least two rounds in us we should be good. Plus gives him time to finish that waffle, if he finishes it."

It wasn't shocking by any means that she ended up on the shoulder of the road with a flat tire. Her truck was on its last leg, could barely pull her horse trailer anymore, and it was a damn nail that made it useless. Go figure. At least she was going back home rather than heading to the barn. Stepping out to look at the tire, she groaned and decided to hang out by the hood to wait for a passerby to come and save the day. At this point, the towing truck was on its way and since her issues with her truck happened every other week, she knew the driver well and trusted him enough to go straight home or to a bar. Whichever she came across first.

Leya was on her way home but couldn't help herself when she saw the woman in the side of the road. She pulled over behind her and pointed to the truck, "Hey what's up? I might be able to give you a hand if you want me to." She didn't really know what she could do to help but she'd give it a shot, there might not be anything she could do.

Leya and Roux were on a swing together, Her momentum having more of an affect than her sons as she laid all the way back so they could go higher as the kid requested. She hadn't really noticed Mason and Ollie coming but Roux did. He timed it right, jump off her lap at the lowest point of the swing and running over before she stopped. "Hey Ollie, Mason. How you are guys today?" She grinned as Roux and Ollie quickly went to playing on some other equipment leaving her in the swing by herself. "There's a seat over here." She smiled pointing to the other swing for Mason.

Liv started and ended her work shift with a headache. The intensity of which led her to parking the Bronco outside and lumbering into the Waffle House for much needed caffeine. It would only be a temporary fix, but she felt better with the crutch. As morning light streamed in through the windows, Liv bowed her head and rubbed circles on her temples. Feeling a pair of eyes drift her way, she straightened up, wincing. "I'm not hungover -- I swear. Just dealing with the migraine from the deep, deep depths of Hell," she said, then looked at the syrups and salt in front of her. "You need one of those? 'Cause I don't."

Leya slid her coffee Liv's way and shook her head, "I'll get yours. You look like you need it more than I do." She smiled nudging the half sleepy toddler next to her and shaking her head. "He woke up at three am requesting waffles and hashbrowns. I literally went to bed like an hour ago." She laughed, "You gonna be okay?"

It had been another busy night and Mickey was helping close up as some of the workers hung around. He heard the familiar voice of Leya and glanced over at her with a raise of his brow, pausing to let her ramble a little. He would do that sometimes - purposely go silent for a moment or two to see if the person would continue talking. It was an endearing trait when they did, and he felt his smile grow as he watched her. "Why so?" Mickey asked with a wiggle of his brows, as walked over to her. "Don't you women love a man with a lot of energy?" He continued with a smirk. Mickey then reached for some tequila and waved it at her. "What do you say? No pressure, I know I'm the boss, but you can say no..." he poured his glass and hovered over the one he had placed down for her. "You too tired?" He then added with a wink, wondering if she would take the bait. It was all in good fun and he meant no harm, as all the workers knew. He might have a reputation, but they were a family under this roof and Mickey prided himself on creating a safe space for all of his employees. That didn't mean they couldn't have some fun, though, right?

Leya's brows raised at her boss, "the only man I have ever enjoyed with a lot of energy, besides you, is at home in a drawer." Her smirk matching his as she nodded, "I can't turn down tequila. You know that." Her eyes narrowed at him and she shook her head, "challenge accepted, boss. Let's see how long I can go." She laughed shaking her head, the sitter had probably found her way to one of the lofts she had told her several times she was welcome to stay overnight since work tended to run late. "What kind of challenge do you have in mind tonight or is this just a drink till I can't go home, type thing?"
