After being nominated twice, Christopher Plummer won an Oscar in 2010. Although he is an amazing actor with an amazing carrier behind him, it took him 82 years to receive the famous statuette. He truly deserved to break the record and become the oldest winner.

The 82-year-old came on stage to accept his best supporting actor award and stared at the statuette before remarking on how great it looked. “You’re only two years older than me darling, where have you been all of my life?” Plummer asked.
