the_power_of_failing Ive been contemplating not posting this because i know how much Instagram videos get degraded hheavily. But hopefully you guys can view this in low light and see just howany meteors are in each second. It was insane. Hands down the most magical night I’ve seen in years . The meteor shower was absolutely incredible and so so so beautiful. Makes you feel small standing under the Ketchikan sky. Nobody knows what mercy they are witnessing when the sun comes up, or that this land of ours holds together for another day. Also shout out to the bad asses at the resort who hung out with me and were so kind.

Change your LIFEstyle

Are you ready to go ALL-IN? Here are some tips to help you accomplish your new goals and stay committed!

1. Stay Organized

Being consistent and prepared during a 24-Day Challenge® is key. Activity or food journal apps on your phone or wearable tracking devices are great ways to stay on track and manage your progress.

Take the time to schedule your workouts throughout the week so you can fit them into your daily or weekly routine. If you only have 30 minutes to work out, get your heart pumping and make those 30 minutes count. Be strategic and flexible when planning your workouts. The Challenge requires commitment, so set reminders on your phone to drink water, take your supplements and eat healthy snacks to help you stay on course. The AdvoCare 24-Day Challenge® app is also a great tool — it helps track your diet and exercise and makes for a great accountability partner.

 2. Set Achievable Goals

Is your ultimate goal to lose weight, drop a pant size or gain lean muscle? It won’t happen overnight, but if you stay motivated and committed, you’ll be that much closer to hitting your goal.

Start by identifying your goal, then break it down into weekly challenges. You could increase the difficulty of your workouts week by week, or focus on steadily reducing your calorie intake so your overall goal doesn’t seem so daunting.  Seeing results, no matter how small, will help motivate you to stick to your goals! And the good thing about All-In is that these 24 days are just the start of your transition toward a healthier lifestyle.

3. Think Like a Health Nut

It’s vital to know what changes to make in your diet, exercise regimen or overall lifestyle to achieve your goal. Once you identify these changes, it’s easier to plan your course of action. If you think you aren’t active enough, start by adding 30-minute walks to your daily routine or take the stairs in your building. Make sure to be consistent and try to find the little things you can change to become more active. Make an effort to find healthy foods you enjoy. From there, you’ll see what other nutritious options you need to incorporate into your diet. For veggies, try to add more color to your plate. Be creative in the kitchen. If vegetables aren’t your thing, add them to a smoothie along with your favorite fruits. 4. Be Positive and Don’t Give Up

We all have off days – if you miss a workout or forget to take your AdvoCare Fiber, don’t beat yourself up about it. There will always be unforeseen circumstances that can throw your day off. To be totally honest I’m sharing this video more for the landscape shots than the several minutes of surfing footage, but the ocean waves are nice too. This video called “Light Therapy” is one of several videos entered into a contest to highlight the association between surfing and filming. It was all captured using the natural light available at the dusk and dawn times when it was filmed.
