This is so important, I almost never get to see trans guys older than 25, which makes it really hard for me to envision myself growing into an older man, which in turn makes me feel really confused about my identity. But really I just needed to see some more representation.
Representation is important. Trans is beautiful. Trans is diverse.
My eyes just welled up with tears. Its so true, that its hard to rarely have any examples of your possible future as an older person. ❤️
june is approaching and so are the insufferable exclusionists trying to make aros and aces seem inherently homophobic cringy people.
so, as an aspec lesbian who would like to enjoy pride for once in her damn life i have a request to non-exclusionists:
-when you see a post made by an ‘ace’ person that is so Obviously Bad and awful and Homophobic and all in all problematic in every way, maybe it’s because it wasn’t made by an asexual person but instead a piece of shit trying to demonize asexual people. if there’s a comment that says ‘this is why everyone hates asexuals’ ding! ding! aphobic asshole detected! please don’t reblog the post.
-if a post talks about how aces are better than allos and think we’re purer or whatever, that’s a troll. almost none of us think like this.
-if an ‘ace’ person refers to themselves as ‘acey’ or ‘asexy’ that’s probably a troll. while they were words we used to use exclusionists took them and user them to mock us and call us cringy. most of us don’t like using them because of this.
-if an ‘ace’ person calls allos ‘dirty allos'or ‘dirty sex havers’ that’s a troll baby! exclusionists refuse to understand the definition of asexuality, or that a lot of us enjoy sex.
-if you see a post made by an ‘ace’ or ‘aro'person that’s complaining about pda in pride, that’s a troll! if an aro or ace person feels uncomfortable we’ll just leave. we don’t go around yelling at people about pda. a lot of us like it in fact.
so in conclusion if you see a post made by an aro or ace person that’s too bad to be true, it probably is. please don’t put these people in my dash, it ruins pride month for me.
Also most of these posts made by “““cringy aceys””” have the url aphobe[name] or stinkyallogay or something. If you see that, it’s most definitely a person who is trying to make asexual ppl look bad. Please stop falling for it.
Whenever I see posts like this I feel really ignorant. Can someone explain to me the definition of asexuality and/or how come that a lot of you do in fact enjoy sex? Or do you have any good blogs for me to follow that go into more detail? I’m really trying to learn and understand, I just can’t quite wrap my head around it yet.
asexual means not feeling sexual attraction (but asexuality is a spectrum so there’s also graysexual, which is feeling close to none or feeling sexual attraction under very specific circumstances)
an ace person can still have sex because it feels good and it’s fun or to share that experience with their partner(s). aces can still have libido, which is not the same as feeling attraction. so that’s another reason to have sex.
but honestly i’m not the best person to answer this since i’m sex repulsed. if you wanna know more then i’d recommend going to fuckyeahasexual.
Today is Transgender Day Of Visibility! I'd like to take this moment to remind you that this day applies to all trans people, and that all trans people are welcome in this community, regardless of:
- If they've completely figured out their gender or not.
- If they're content never knowing their exact gender, just that they're not cis.
- If they are closeted, partially closeted, or fully out.
- Whether they want to live in stealth or be openly trans.
- How far in their transition they are.
- How far they intend to transition, including if they can't or don't want to transition at all.
- Their level of dysphoria and euphoria, even if it's none.
- What pronouns they use, including if it's the pronouns associated with their AGAB, and no matter how many times they change their pronouns.
- Whether they never change their name, change it once, or change it twenty times until they find one that fits.
- How they present.
- How their describe their own journey.
- If they're still questioning.

With pride month coming up please remember that there are straight people, specifically straight trans people, in the lgbt community and that you shouldn’t forget them this June. No straights allowed jokes are cool and all as long as they’re jokes, but please don’t erase the straight people in your community.

I really like being transgender.
No special reason. That’s just the way I’m supposed to be and being genuinely yourself feels really good.
I just don’t wanna be cis because that’s not who I am at my core. And it’s as simple as that, kids. You don’t need a reason to like being trans. The joy of living life authentically is more than enough.
Anybody can reblog but if you’re not trans don’t make this all about you.
I feel like Transgender Day of Visability (March 31) is going to get overlooked this year considering the circumstances. I’d like every trans and nonbinary person who sees this to know I am proud of you for existing. Just because we’re in the middle of a pandemic doesn’t mean you were forgotten. :)
