would it be too much to say she wanted to debut? on live radio. for some reason that felt a step too far and she shied away from. maybe nothing bad would happen, maybe she would destroy her entire trainee career? sarang wasn't willing to bet on it. so she went with something safe. "it's something really simple but one of my loves. we might get the second season of the one piece live action this year so i can't wait to see how they adapt that part of the story." by now her guest and co-host should have an idea of her love for it.
"it never hurts to switch things up…that being said…I'm a person who likes to stay the course. but having the goal to better than you were the year before is good and practical. we all have ways we can grow and improve year to year, lessons learned that can carry over." she had the idea to ask but maybe that would get a little personal for a fun radio show. instead, sarang thought of a pivot.
"one thing that's not talked about when it comes to the new year is what happens if we fail in achieving what we want to achieve. do you have any advice for the listeners on how they could pick themselves up if they don't meet something they set out to do?"
"Ah, that's right! I read a little bit about it online! Did you love the first season? Was it really true to the original?" In truth, Taeha had yet to join in on the One Piece wave ( while she'd never been one to shy away from commitment 1000+ episodes was just not something she was quite prepared for - ). "Do you think some of our fans would like to hear more about it? Maybe we should do a One Piece episode just once!"
Taeha nods, resting her chin in her palm. "Ah, I see... You make a really good point, though. Sometimes staying the course is best? It shows that you can start something and stick to it! Dedication is a very admirable trait!" Maybe should should put a bit more thought into starting that series... - Eventually.
"When we fail..." Taeha's gaze falls to the table between them. What a good question. How does she face failure... Tears certainly wouldn't be a very good answer in this case. Teeth worry her lip before she breaks into her usual smile. "I think the best thing to do is... Be kind to yourself. Which can be really hard in the moment... Especially when you fall short of something you really want. But I think looking at every situation as a learning opportunity - and having a really good sense of humor! - Softens the blow a bit... We don't always achieve everything we set out to... But sometimes learning how not to do something or being set onto a new path can sometimes be just as rewarding!" She gives a weary nod, a bit self-conscious of her answer - did she sound overly optimistic?! "What about you? How do you handle that sort of thing?"
