The best act of microfeminism I’ve heard

it was a post by a woman who said that when she had her boy she brought him only to female professionals like - a female dentist, swim instructor, principal, eye specialist, pediatrician etc

so by age 5 her kid thought that the world was run by women

Astronauts Jessica Meir and Christina Koch previously worked together on the International Space Station, and performed the first all-female space walk in 2019.

Right now, Koch is in the Orion capsule on her way back to Earth from the moon as part of the Artemis II mission, and Meir is again working on the ISS as commander of Expedition 74/75. Yesterday, they had a phone call and got to talk to each other and the rest of their crews.

Just two old work friends getting on a call while they’re in two different spaceships :)

One of the greatest treasures of the Artemis II is seeing the general public's love for space come back in full force. Everyone, including myself is just so captivated in wonder by this, our own generations space race minus the race. What a bright thing to happen in a world so plagued by sadness lately. It feels nice to have hope.
