#Inktober Day 30: Our 1st ultrasound at 10 weeks
#Inktober Day 29: My Google searches have gotten very strange since I've been pregnant.
#Inktober Day 28: I've heard all the stories of sleeplessness when the baby finally comes, but no one stressed how pregnancy symptoms consistently wake you up at 4am throughout it. My heart goes out to the women who have worse symptoms than I.
#Inktober Day 27: Our spare room we planned to use for the nursery has been our storage/library room since we moved in. I was skeptical that Karl would be able to pick up the room of his stuff before the crib arrived, but he is a man of his word.
#Inktober Day 26: We can only hope our future baby will follow his big brother's example.
#Inktober Day 25: Every time my husband tries to get my attention, I am stuffing my face.
#Inktober Day 24: The week I found out I was pregnant was the same week I was running in the Hood to Coast Relay (a 199 mile relay race done over the course of 2 days in Oregon) with my co-workers and family friends. Now that I was more conscientious about what I ate/drank, I was so worried that someone would suspect that I was pregnant, especially since I was going to be in a van with them for 48 hrs...but in the end, I was just paranoid!
#Inktober Day 23: My husband and I announced that we were expecting yesterday. It was really tough keeping quiet since we found out mid-August. Karl and I felt we were in a fight club of sorts: only those who knew we're expecting cannot talk about expecting. Special thanks to our family and close friends who did know ahead of time and participated in our "Pregnancy Fight Club".
#Inktober Day 22: Yesterday, my husband and I ate at Rione XIII, known for their Roman inspired cuisine, for Seattle Restaurant Week. It was amaaaazing.
#Inktober Day 21: Mole ashigaru
#Inktober Day 20: Samurai salamander
#Inktober Day 19: Some gesture drawing while watching a Chinese movie, "God of War".
#Inktober Day 18: Some onna-bugeisha (female samurai) studies. I was trying out some new approaches with my fountain pen, but didn't quite get the results I wanted (especially with proportions). Time for more practice!
#Inktober Day 17: My husband always jokes that when my mind wanders, my eyes become unfocused and it looks like I'm "staring into the void". For those who *do* encounter the void, know that someone out there thinks you are wonderful.
#Inktober Day 16: It was a bit of a struggle today with my cold, but here's a drawing of my nephew hanging out with Mr. Bronty
#Inktober Day 15: I was home sick today, and I definitely remember it being more fun as a kid.
#Inktober Day 14: My co-worker brought a pug into the office last Friday; I couldn't help but draw a backpacking pug (who's also responsible for chef duties)
