He’s standing in front of gigantic doors of the Institute: the building looks like it’s been here from at least eighteen hundreds – not that Sokka minds – grotesque columns, huge windows and overall Notre Dame-esque is right up Sokka’s alley. Still, he shudders at the idea that this building reminds him of his beloved university. As he enters, Long Feng, the director of the Institute and his past interviewer, is already waiting for him. “He might as well have just materialized out of thin air”, Sokka thinks to himself, shooing the stupid joke away immediately. This is a serious organization, and he has to act accordingly, no matter how out of character it is for him.
