“Who am I?” Yuffie blinked slowly and tilted her head to the side, before she smiled. Her hands went straight to her hips, before she took on that signature proud peacock stance that came with telling people who she was.

“I’m Yuffie Kisaragi, the greatest Materia Hunter and ninja the world has ever known!” An embellishment, perhaps, but she was the greatest ninja to come out of Wutai, and that was a fact. At merely 19 years old, she had faced the five greatest ninjas of her homeland, and beaten them all.

“Who are you?”

Well, this one was a perky little girl. She seemed so proud of her title. Whatever year he had fallen on earth this time, ninjas seemed to be a thing now...

“Ok, wait a minute, if you’re a ninja, how come you couldn’t sneak on me?”

He asked with a squint and a smirk.

“You can call me angel. I’m a regular guy, I guess.” Lies, but why would he reveal his true identity to this girl, no matter how friendly she seems?

All she can manage to do is put forward her absolute best cocky smile–she hadn’t meant to get caught, but it happens. Apparently, her sneaky ninja skills need some work again. Letting out a soft sigh, she shrugs her shoulders.

Play it cool, Yuffie. Just play it cool.

“Oh yeah? Well. Good! You can never be too careful about the places you go. Or the people that follow you!”

Yeah, that’s a good start!

The spunky little ninja presses her hands to her hips and takes a deep breath in, letting it out slowly. “If I was a bad person–you might have been hurt!” She doesn’t tell him that she’s only following him along, because she feels like he might lead her to great treasure.

He turned around to face the person that’s been following him, and his eyes widen a bit at the sight.

“If you were a bad person, I would have fought back, and I wouldn’t be the only one to get hurt.”

He smirked, and folded his arms across his chest.

“Who are you?”
