Hmm.... yeah... I think I may move after all

I'm not gonna delete this blog yet; I wanna look through here and see what posts I wanna transfer to other blogs, and I thought it'd be a good idea to keep it up just in case I change my mind on moving.

But! As for the new blogs I'm getting set up!

My new "main" is gonna be at @my-rarest-reverie; it's gonna be a reblog account, mainly, but I might yap on there every once in a while!

The new self-ship account is currently called @my-loving-reveries. I'm sure I'll change it in the future, but I needed a placeholder for now so that's what we're going with.

Anyways! Hi everybody! Hello! I hope you're all doing alright!

I've been thinking, during this later end of my accidental hiatus. I think I wanna come back to posting? Maybe? I've been self-shipping in a much more personal manner lately, where I don't really talk about my shipping often and just kinda live it. And while I've been satisfied with that, for the most part, I also just miss yapping about my men!

If I do start posting again though, I think it'd be nice to make a brand new blog. A fresh, blank, new blog, with a fresh, simplified list. The only thing about that though is that this blog is the main blog, so if I get rid of this one, I get rid of all of them, and so I'd be starting everything from scratch. I might be fine with that part though, actually!

The part I'm not so sure on yet is how public I wanna be? And how I'd go about not being as public if that's the route I wanna go down. 'Cause a good part of me right now just wants to post to my friends and mutuals. But another part of me specifically likes making ask-games for the community. Idk, the thought's a work in progress right now. And who knows if I end up doing any of this anyway, right?

I guess this is just an update for me? And for my blog? Just know that my F/Os and I are very much in love and have been going on silly little dates during my absence.

As I’ve talked about before, a sort of “rule” I have with my own self-shipping is that I gotta confirm the F/Os would love me irl for me to wanna self-ship with them. Like that used to be a really big deal for me.

I say used to today because either it’s becoming less of a big deal for me, or the Hanks and I are just so soulmate-coded that it doesn’t even matter anymore.

I booted up a new save file on Date Everyrhing just for funsies; I wanted to experiment just a bit when doing Hoove & the Hanks’ routes to see what’d still get me a love ending. For the Hanks, I wanted to see what missing just one outing did to me… and apparently that friend-ending-locked me 💀

But it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would, considering that I almost didn’t F/O them at all because I thought I wouldn’t be able to keep up with that extreme sports energy. It didn’t bother me at all, actually.

I think that’s because of the dating sim format (or at least this dating sim’s format), which is also funny to me because I thought self-shipping in a dating sim source would ruin my life lmao. ‘Cause I thought I’d sit there, look at the options that got me the love endings, and be like “…okay well I’m not like that irl so do I even have a chance?”.

But what I’m realizing is that, with how quick the routes in Date Everything are, the options you pick for a Love Ending are the ones that’d like… speedrun a relationship, I guess? Like the options to make someone fall in love with you as quick as possible. Because it’s a game designed to have shorter, quicker routes. But in real life, you can have all the time in the world to fall in love with someone. So even if the Hanks wouldn’t fall in love with me literally right off the bat, I guess, I can still think of what would make them fall in love with me over a period of time. Does that make sense?

On tonight’s episode of What Did Libby Bake™️

We’re starting off strong with the kiddos; Hank 0 is on the left, and Nori is on the right! I didn’t know what tf to do for Hank’s romper so we just kinda kept it simple

We also have!!! The husband! And boyfriends! GI’s definitely the roughest out of this batch, but in my defense the yellow frosting was almost out by the point I got to him (thanks Gary), and it was making me fight for my life
