Ough... protective F/Os...
💜 F/Os that are stereotypically protective, my beloved: the ones that'll come to your side when they see someone bothering you, opting to hold you close and tell this person directly that their presence is no longer welcome.
🩷 F/Os that are silently protective, my beloved: the ones that don't interfere because they don't need to. They'll simply stand behind you, keeping the situation under their watchful eye to make sure it doesn't escalate. They'll step in if they need to, sure, but that cold stare alone is usually enough to make the opposing person stand down.
💚 F/Os that are cheerfully protective, my beloved: the ones that will come to your aid with a smile, using their friendly attitude to simultaneously comfort you and soothe the situation until the person leaves. They take great care in making sure they don't add fuel to the fire, though you can tell from the way they stay close to you that they're worried all the same.
🩷 F/Os that will just straight up remove you from the equation, my beloved: they need no prompting to step in front of you, actively arguing for you when they know it may be difficult for you to do it yourself.
💜 And of course, F/Os that will just kick someone's ass for you, my beloved.
