Okay. So a couple of days ago, nestingdean was having a bad day and I was super busy with work so I only got online when everyone had already sent her a bunch of happy stories about their day and I didn’t get to try and cheer her up. But see, Fea always sends me messages when I’m sad and spams me with pictures of kittens because she knows the way to my heart, so I decided this wouldn’t do. SO BUBBLE BATH TIME IT IS. I’m so sorry, sweetie, I haven’t written anything proper in a while — I’m super rusty so my prose is like “????? what is writing”, but basically, you’re a wonderful human being and you deserve happy baby animals and hugs and love 24/7. I’m sorry I wasn’t around when you needed some cheering up. I hope this at least makes you smile a little bit. ♥

Dean expected many things when Cas approached him and told him he intended to fall so they could spend the rest of their days together.

… Or, well, at least he did once he stopped trying to convince Cas he wasn’t worth the trouble—all it took was a glare from the angel, accompanied by one small taste of that heavenly wrath as Cas oh so intensely and ever so earnestly enumerated the many reasons why Dean’s side was exactly where he needed to remain and how Dean should never doubt that, thank you very much.

So, okay, after Dean got past all of that, he figured the angel would go back to his old ways. PB&Js, long showers, bees—the works.

What he most certainly didn’t expect was Cas’ fascination with baths.

Dean had first discovered it when he got turned around in the bunker one night, accidentally opening a door he’d assumed led to an old storage room where the Men of Letters supposedly kept all the strange electronic devices they encountered, only to come across a very different discovery.

A very wet discovery.
