In Another Mirror World…
Lucio stared down his opponents, as sweat glistened across his forehead. Both sides were exhausted yet neither could give up.
Yoshihide’s allies urged the boy to lay down his weapons, yet he couldn’t. After all, Yoshihide wouldn’t have either. Or would she have gotten into the fight to begin with?
Valencia intercut, “How many times do I have to remind you? Forget all the useless flourishing and just go for the heart! The heart! I’ve given you plenty of demonstrations, haven’t I?”
Her words were full of scorn and anger. As always. She urged forth the textbook. She always did, without any consideration after all.
“…I’ve always known this day would come.” He muttered. “But I was hoping… to meet my end while dueling Yoshihide herself… someone who was supposed to study… me…”
“So that the next Textbook can…”
Lucio readied myself, before pushing one more time. One more small burst of energy to win the fight.
“Learn from my mistakes… and make appropriate corrections to its content…”
Then, he lunged. With a two sentences of encouragement from her.
After a few more words from the Textbook, he finally lunged, aiming for the heart.
And then, without warning, he was pierced. He gasped, staring down at his chest, a ligament from the man infront of him pierced through his chest, as blood trickled out of his mouth.
He coughed, as he distantly heard Valencia talk, as if it was muddled. And then… he closed his eyes.

And then, he awoke. He couldn’t tell how long it was. He glanced around himself. He was no longer in the corridor. He was inside one of the many backroom doors.
A weak hand trembled as he forced it upward to where he was stabbed, as he came into contact with flesh. He had been healed. Yet… how?
He groaned, as he slowly pushed himself up, his weapons laid beside him. He didn’t know what had happened, and all he could tell was that his heart is still.
Mod cut below.
