“Waddles! WADDLES! Now, where did that pig run off to?”Â
It was another restless night and no matter how many meows she tried, Mabel couldn’t get herself back to sleep. So she leapt out of bed and snuck downstairs to find her favorite pig hoping he could help her sleep. With a quick sweep around the living room, and still no Waddles, she wandered her way into the store front. She had made her way behind the cash register when she heard a large crash ring from behind the vending machine. Looking towards the sound she was met with a flash of blue light momentarily shocking her. A smattering of spots continued to dance around the corners of her eyes as she entered the code to the vending machine and making her way down to her great uncle’s lab.Â
It was wrong, she shouldn’t be going down there and she knew it. Their Grunkle had forbidden it within the first few days he’d been there. That being said Mabel knew that it was way too late for someone to be awake. She had to make sure her Grunkle was alright.Â
The elevator opened and Mabel cautiously stepped out. “Grunkle Ford....what are you doing?”
