💙🌹 Why I love Moon/Pluto Synastry & Why it frightens me. 🌹💙
(Keep in mind these are my own personal observations. Depending on the signs, what houses they’re in, their degrees, etc. this may not be your experience.)
——————————
In my opinion, Moon/Pluto synastry is one of, if not the most, binding to have with someone. Of course there is exceptions to every single aspect so keep that in mind.
The Moon is the deepest parts of ourselves. I think of our Venus signs as our heart but our Moon being the deepest parts of our soul and psyche. It’s like the saying “I love them not with my heart, but with my soul.” While Pluto is transformative and embodies all the things that many people are “afraid” to touch. It is intense, raw and unafraid.
When there is a Moon/Pluto aspect in synastry, I have noticed that both people are unable to forget one another. It’s even more intense, in my opinion, with a conjunction or square. It’s so profoundly life changing and binding. It can bring out the the most passionate, beautiful parts of both people. It’s that type of love and relationship you will never be able to forget.
I’ve noticed when these two planets aspect each other in synastry, both partners are equally effected. There’s sometimes arguments of who feels it more but in my opinion, they both feel it extremely intensely. The Moon person feels seen for who they are at the purest level and they are unafraid to show the dark parts of themselves to Pluto. While the Pluto person is accepting of these darker parts and they themselves reveal the most vulnerable parts of who they are to the Moon.
I know many married couples with this. Most often with the man/masculine person being the Pluto and the female/feminine person being Moon. The couples I know with this have a very profound emotional connection. They know one another so well they don’t even have to verbally communicate. They just know one another deeply on a soul level. It’s extremely difficult to describe if you’ve never witnessed it or experienced this type of connection.
Both people transform each other. They bring out one another’s deepest fears, insecurities, hopes, dreams, desires, etc. And by deepest I mean deepest. You will find yourself telling this person things you have never, ever told another soul. You’ll find yourself telling them some of your deepest fantasies or desires that you might be too afraid of saying out loud. But with this person, you can’t help but expose those parts of you.
Both people are unconditionally accepting. However, not everyone can handle this intensity. People who are emotionally undeveloped or unwilling to come to terms with the shadow side of themselves may run from this connection. They may falsely accuse the other person of behavior they didn’t do or act out in ways that harm the other. They might become over possessive of that person and project their insecurities onto them. This aspect requires both parties being aware of their emotions.
It is important, if you ever find yourself in a relationship with someone who you have this aspect with, to be open to emotional, mental and spiritual transformation. That doesn’t mean you changing and becoming someone you’re not. It means becoming a better version of yourself.
This aspect frightens me because, in my opinion, it is the most powerful aspect you can have with someone. The soul, the Moon meets the most profound and transformative planet, Pluto. It’s binding, passionate, possessive, sexual, unconditional and raw.
There‘s something so beautiful about people who open up their deep and authentic selves to you - the flower unfolding, the petals reaching out to say ‘water me with your words‘…
Sensitivity is one of those traits that cuts deep to the core, both into beauty and into pain; being simultaneously a blessing and a curse, a cure and something there's no panacea for...
I felt things deeply, and often the profound unfairness of the world triggered a furious, poetic response from me,
Carmen Maria Machado, from In the Dream House: A Memoir
“Read the books and listen to the songs that inspire a deeper sensitivity in your heart.”
— Empathy, as I see it, is the very soul and true purpose of art.
I wish people didn’t think silence was awkward, just enjoy it. Not every space has to be filled with words.
