Reblog this is you were lifting BEFORE you found the shoplifting community on tumblr
So I saw this in the community but op wasnât a lifting blog so I just thought Iâd repost because what a great fucking tip!!!
This is what I was talking about!!
hi iâm the one who asked if i could send a list of storesđ here they are:
ab3rcr0mb!3
a3ropostal3
am3rican 3agle outfitt3rs
bath & b0dy works
the b0dy sh0p
for3v3r 21
gam3stop
garag3 (itâs a clothing store)
h0l|ist3r
h0t t0pic
jcpe3nn3y
|ush
macy$
m0rphe
pac$un
p!nk
seph0ra
$p3ncerâs
t!llyâs
vict0riaâs s3cret
zum!ez
also a weird thing about the s3ph0ra in this mall is that it might not have alarms?? someone who says that they would âbuyâ all their expensive makeup from there and the alarm has never went off đ the mall is sort of seen as âghettoâ so maybe that could factor in it
ab3rcr0mb!3 - Iâm not sure ahh sorry!
a3ropostal3 - not super sure, but Iâm pretty sure it isnât too too hard
am3rican 3agle outfitt3rs - a bit harder, but I donât go here too often
bath & b0dy works - very easy in my opinion, the SA are a little pushy though, so watch out for them! no tagging that ive seen
the b0dy sh0p - ive never heard of this one sorryy
for3v3r 21 - incredibly easy from my exp, not much tagging at all
gam3stop - very risky, im always hesistant with tech stores though! please be careful here <3
garag3 (itâs a clothing store) - also never heard of this one either ahh
h0l|ist3r - ive heard mixed things, but if your mall is a bit ghetto i think youâll be okay!
h0t t0pic - pfft, easy peasy. always check for tagging though! i go crazy here, watch for attentive SA
jcpe3nn3y - risky! since itâs one of those department stores, as long as your careful you should be okay though
|ush - ive actually never been to a lush but ive heard different things, some are easy some are really hard, scout out yours first and practice safety as always!
macy$ - ahh risky, BUT IF UR MACYS HAS A MACYS BACKSTAGE OMG <3 ITS LIKE LIFTER PARADISE, SUPER EASY AND GREAT STUFF, NO TAGGING
m0rphe - in my exp, super easy, very little SA and tall shelves! no tagging <3
pac$un - ehhh tagging is there, fitting room arent checked though
p!nk - pink and VS have been relatively easy for me, no tagging on MOST panties, but tagging on ALL bras and other lingerie. attentive SA but not too bad at my location
seph0ra - differs a LOT, if you have a ghetto mall and no sensors though, go for it
$p3ncerâs - MY FAV ALL TIME FAV STORE <333 SUPER EASY, NO TOWERS, DIMLY LIT, LITTLE SA, however there are hard tags on some thing so that you have to buy them to get them off 3
t!llyâs - never been sorry!!
vict0riaâs s3cret - i answered in pink >:)
zum!ez - also not sure about this one, sorry sorry!
i hope that helps!!!
iâve had experience in all but one of these stores so:
ab3rcrOmb!3 â> most saâs are adults here and they pay attention. they def profile so dress high class and look mature. my store has a lot of tagged items so u have to buy a hook and conceal in dressing rooms.
a3ropostal3 â> easy as hell LOL. very few workers work at the same time (2-3) in a big store so i feel sorry for them đ most items $50+ are tagged and need to be removed with a hook. my location doesnât count items in and out of the dressing rooms.
am3rican 3agle outfitt3rs â> sa is a literal more intense here. sa counts clothing in and out of the dressing rooms so youâll have to hide items within one another to bring in the dressing room. around Ÿ of the items are tagged and require a hook.
bath & bOdy works â> usually very crowded with customers so it might be difficult. smaller items like those air fresheners are easy tho. bbw is known to not accuse someone of l!fting (just read a story about how an sa saw items in someoneâs bag and asked them if they needed a store bag to hold everything). candles and stuff can get heavy so bring a sturdy bag/purse.
the bOdy shOp â> donât have one near me
for3v3r 21 â> easy as hell. i never l!ft from this store/hhh & em anymore but when i did it was so easy. sa counts clothes coming in and out, so you have to hide items in between one another. u can also conceal items on the floor because the camera placements are so random and create so many clubs spots. most arenât tagged anyway
gam3stop â> harder because they have 360 rotatable cameras. not really any blind spots so u have to create some. most higher tech items are tagged with spider wraps so u need an s3 key.
garag3 â> tagged items removable with a hook. theyâre easy if u know what youâre doing. saâs at my location r early 20s and spend most of the time restocking clothes.
hOllist3r â> almost everything is tagged, so you need a hook. saâs donât count or keep track of the dressing rooms, so itâs super easy. also the store is dark so it makes it easier to conceal and stuff
hot topic â> flowing with customers but items are small and easy to conceal. most items arenât tagged/lightly tagged (RFID sticker).
jcpe3nn3y â> depends on what brand youâre getting because each sub brand tags differently
lush â> attentive saâs so come when itâs busier. the store has a really open layout making it harder to conceal.
macy$ â> they build cases so be careful. most items arenât tagged/lightly tagged (RFID stickers). donât conceal in the beauty/bag section bc they have hella cams. go for the home/pots&pans section for concealing.
mOrphe â> just go to Ć«ltÄ
pac$un â> easy as HELL omg. everyone is a teenager and spends most of their time restocking. thereâs usually like one adult per shift so be careful of them. iâm friends with the workers here bc of how often i go and i l!ft every time i come. teen saâs donât give a shit.
p!nk â> tagged clothes & attentive saâs. they check all their employees for internal theft so they tags theft seriously! hide items within one another and enter the dressing rooms to conceal. use a hook.
sephOra â> donât fuck around here if youâre new. i did when i was new and almost got caught. sÄphora should be a hit once and donât come back for a while kind of store since they have a shit ton of cameras (usually every isle) and HELLA attentive saâs. theyâre in your face about everything and there are saâs by the door to stop l!fters. perfumes are tagged but not really anything else. if you ever l!fted here they probably know about it.
$03ncerâs â> small store. i fucking hate this store but it should be easy since only around œ is tagged anyway. nothing is heavily tagged, and the store is usually on the darker side which helps u conceal easier.
t!âllyâs â> they have towers by the tiny ass exit so u have to make sure EVERYTHING is untagged. the entrance/exit have cams recording at all times so u have to enter and exit on camera. nothing here is my style so i donât go here often but i would just conceal in dressing rooms.
victOriaâs s3cret â> basically same as p!nk since theyâre sister companies
zum!ez â> basically same as h0t tĂ”p!c, $pencÄrs, and t!Ćlys
not trying to be the obnoxious contrarian/devils advocate but I just want to emphasize the importance of casing your own store and checking your local shops out out by taking a casual window shopping trip and observing the store closely, reading online reviews and looking at photos of the location if there are any, because I have definitely had some different experiences at some stores than the folks above ^
just as a few examples:
my ab3rcrombie tags 100% of things but the employees DGAF so I find it quite easy. my h0llister barely tags shit my h0tter t0pic pencil tags nearly everything and there are no blind spots to detag anything so I dont usually grab stuff from them zumiez counts in and out and the employees are usually pretty loyal to the store, keep an eye on customers, and will try to stop you from l1fting, so Iâm careful here. the store layout does tend to create some natural blind spots you can swipe from if you are very quick.
sorry this post ends up being so long but stormy is right!!! our stores r literally so different so remember to take everything u read on here with a grain of salt!!
Any tips/advice for whÞlÚ föods, I want to make a run Friday. Anything would be helpful.
DNAing, or scamming!
-DNA: Did not arrive.
Itâs really easy to DNA stuff online. Just email or live chat (i prefer livechat) the company and say that you never received the product, and that you were really excited to get it/disappointed it never came.
For ĂmĂ€zön, WĂ€lmĂ€rt, ĂltĂ€, TĂ€rgĂ«t, etc, itâs best to have an active account with actual purchases on there. Even after your scam, buy cheap things once in a while so you can scam again. Iâve done that with TĂ€rgĂ«t & have scammed over $400 in items on the same account (with like 10 legitimate purchases).
Hereâs a list of stores Iâve scammed and their protocol, & the amount I scammed:

NOTE: new stores have a ~ instead of a - !!!
I was talking to one of my coworkers and she uses WĂ lmĂrt plus to shop and said she can just use her phone to scan products, puts her produce in reusable bags and stops at self checkout just to scan a QR code and is just able to walk out and she pays through the app. I was thinking about doing this to Ćift easier, itâs $98 a year but Iâm thinking I can clear that in one run and in the long run be worth it if it works.
STOP SHARING ED ON MY MF FEED, I will 100% block you. Iâm tired of seeing it, as a person with an underlining Ed Iâd appreciate it you stopped. đ

f21 is a shit company
My mother works in a sweatshop. One day she got around 2000 shirts to work on and had to complete it within a day. She wasnât able to finish it at work so she had to bring it home. They were very pretty and I asked her if I could keep one, of course she said. I looked at the tags to check my size and realized that they were from f21. I asked how much she was getting payed and she said â 6 cents per shirtâ. I was mad. How does a company pay sweatshop workers 6 cents while their retailing the shirts for $15?? My mother worked all night finishing their shirts just to earn $120? These companies prey on minorities so they can make more profit. DO NOT SUPPORT FOREVER 21!

DNAâS/ONLINE SCAMS MASTERPOST
nobody asked for this but im doing it anyway âš
i will edit this as time goes on and i order from more places! feel free to message me with or reblog with your own experiences from different stores, this post will be my individual thoughts and experiences
this will not just focus on dnaâs, its more like the best methods to use for different online stores. currently planning on either doing chewy, petco or petsmart next
AMAZON:
hella easy, usually theyll just give you a refund without question. stuff like food or stuff that canât be repurposed canât be returned at all so you donât always have to file a dna, you can just say they were damaged and theyâll refund you in full. stuff like clothes, blankets, anything that can be washed and used by other people theyâll want you to return, though, so always do dnas for them. if you order something off of amazon fresh grocery delivery and say that the entire order was messed up, they might even double the amount you spent and refund it (THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED TO ME ONCE SO DONâT QUOTE ME IF IT DOESNT WORK). do not do this too often or they will lock/blacklist your account or address!
ALIEXPRESS:
hard to do dnaâs on since theyll pretty much just tell you âsorry it says its delivered so itâs delivered whether or not you got itâ. half of the time though things take WAY longer than their marked delivery date anyway so you can say that it hasnt arrived after that date and theyâll have to give you a refund, and your clothes will still probably arrive. particularly easy to scam though, make up some bullshit excuse about your outfit being torn or otherwise not as you expected and youâll get refunded in a few days (especially if you provide picture evidence, just take something you already have of similar color or whatever and rip it a bit or just take a pic off google and alter it so it canât be reverse searched). this is better to do on shops that are obviously automated and not individually ran,  you can tell if theyâre just another copy shop if you look up one of their products and the same thing is being sold at different places. do NOT do a dna with an independent shop as itâs essentially the same as lifting from a mom n pop or a depop/etsy store. youâre hurting actual people there.
WISH:
similar to aliexpress but a bit easier; if you donât receive your order in a timely manner theyll actually ask you about it and you can say that you didnt get it. like aliexpress itll probably take longer than estimated for your things to arrive, so you can file for a refund and still get your stuff some time later. like before, you can tell if theyâre a bot shop if you can find the exact same product at different places
DOORDASH:
you cant get your money back with doordash but they do give you refunds with dash credits, which is basically currency that pays for your order for you. i donât do dnaâs here often since it requires you to chat with cs (not that it matters, i just dont like talking to people â just say it was delivered to the wrong address or smth) but rather i complain abt the food (claim something was missing, something wasnât made right etc) and iâll still get money back. do this once every other order and not every single order or else theyâll stop giving you credits/only give you minimal credits. you can also possibly tell your driver to take their time with delivering, as late orders are an automatic 10$ back in credits no matter what. as far as i know this does not affect the driver if you donât directly complain about them and give them a good rating, but obviously if your drivers an ass then complain about/rate them however you want. they will absolutely ban your account if you do it too often so be careful with it!
INSTACART:
Kinda a hassle, but here I found that acting like a pissed off Karen to the CS after telling them that you canât find your order will get you what you want. Theyâll try to pin the blame on you and say things like âIf you asked to have your things left at the door then whatever happens to them is on youâ, and when they did this to me I swiftly asked if they were saying it was my fault that my things disappeared â which, of course, they donât want you to think. Start off calm and friendly, a bit confused even, then switch to hostile and karen-esque for a bit before just asking for a refund. Works best if youâve ordered in the past, so you can say stuff like âthis hasnât happened to me beforeâ etc etc. I donât like being mean to customer service so I donât plan on using Instacart after this lol
CHEWY:
Okay I havenât fully seen if this will work yet but this is my assumption; wait a day or two till after your orderâs shipped, then go to customer service to state that youâd like to cancel your order (i used the excuse that my pet died [which isnât entirely untrue sadly :( ] and theyâll usually refund you without question), According to the faq if an orderâs already shipped thereâs a chance they wonât be able to stop it from arriving, but theyâll still refund you anyway for the inconvenience. (edit for this one: i got a refund but according to my account my deliveryâs set to arrive in the next few days so i think this works :] edit edit: okay so they returned it to the sender KSJSJAKD you should wait a bit longer before trying to ask for a refund)
