I have to say that this national team break both commentators at least mentioned that the other players call her Anne 😅 I feel like you have to be super assertive from the start with names but with all due respect AKB doesn't seem that assertice once she leaves the pitch. Pretty sure Melissa Kössler is really Klara Melissa Kössler but she just always said she's Melissa Kössler so they call her that. Same with Kathy

I was reading some comments that European team should go play Brazil yo prepare for wc the atmosphere at games for country like Brazil and Argentina Colombia will get spicy.
European teams are not use to that even the usawng are not ,and they always play spicy games vs Brazil. Honestly it's in Brazil DNA to be the way they are ,they get so emotional

I’m not saying it would hurt to play more international games against teams outside of Europe (even though the logistics here are always tricky) but it would be too easy to say “Brazil people are more emotional”. They just play a different kind of football. Just like Barcelona plays a different kind of football as Chelsea.

I mean, absolutely nothing against the name (!!!), I was just genuinely confused. 😅 Like, I know that Beth is short for Bethany or Cata short for Catalina but somehow I never thought that Jess is the short form of something too. 😂
