I have decided to move from using SimFileShare over to Patreon, as it will be easier to update my CC over there. My CC will remain completely free for everyone.
I also hope to interact more with fellow simmers, so go on over there and become a member! It's completely free and pledging is not at all expected, but it will give some benefits like Early Access (for some CC), seeing my WIP projects, and also contributing to them!
Spring break gave me some time to fiddle with hair creation again, and this time I was inspired to make something simple yet elegant and versatile. To me this is a basic staple that I felt was missing from the game, and hopefully you enjoy it as much as me! (You will see this on all my sims now)

The beds in the Base Game are quite outdated, and don't have enough swatches. I mean, some of us have used them for 10 years now, and they feel very repetitive. The point of this Custom Content is to give the beds, which have a beautiful mesh, new life and increase their usability! You can expect me to update this with more beds, possibly even beds from packs in the future that need a little refresh.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do... I personally don't like to separate my beds and bed frames, so if you're like me, then this might be what you're looking for! 😊

This version contains all the beds and mattresses in a separated version! I do not recommend running this version at the same time as the regular one, but it should be fine. Note that some beds are missing from this version such as the "Nothin' But A Mattress", because it is just a mattress! If you want that bed, make sure to download the regular version as well.
The basic mattress (inside the file) includes textures from all the beds using that mesh. That's why it's just one single file! I didn't want to clutter your game so I felt this was better, but the downside is that they all cost the same and use the same bed stats.

This was so fun to make! An effortless, cute hairstyle that will look good on many kinds of sims! The mesh is made from scratch to make something original (hopefully). Hope everyone is having a fantastic spring🌷
After getting better at doing weights and stuff like that, I felt inspired to make more long hair! Here's one with each strand made from scratch. It's kind of late 90s/00s inspired, but I think it's quite versatile.
It's finished! I'm so excited to release this, it was such a blast to make, but took me quite some time and effort! This set is vintage, and storybook-inspired, but still has many versatile items that you can customize without too much hassle! Some examples include all items having matching swatches with each other, letting you make rooms with unique vibes. The chandelier is also quite simple, but if you want a more extravagant one, you can duplicate it and size one of them down, and it will look great! The paintings also scale nicely.
All items with wood have 13 different wood swatches, many of which are EA ones meaning they will match existing items in the game. I also made original artwork for the paintings (see below under the cut!)

They are meant to be versatile, letting you reuse them in different builds without it feeling like one specific person or place. I would have loved painting a more diverse group of people and landscapes, maybe I can do that for a future set.
I love the enchanted bedroom set but I find it such a shame that the gorgeous string lights don't show up unless I always play with all walls on and very zoomed in. Would it be okay with you if I tried to make a wall version edit of them, or generally tried to make them not go away somehow?
Hello, thank u very much! And yes, you can absolutely edit them if you want!🤍 I'm not 100% sure how to edit the fade effect, but I think you can do it fairly easily in the S4S tags.
There's this option in Object Catalog in the Warehouse:
To disable fading I think you can open the Model in the Warehouse, then go to Data and change the value of U3 to 0.
I really enjoy the mystical, magical vibe (I mean if you know me you know), and I wanted more of that in the game. This set was super fun to make and I learned a lot of things for it, one of them being how to make custom bedding deform properly while animating. It was very frustrating for a while, but satisfying once I got it.
One item I find very fun in this set is the Geode Lamp, which is technically a lamp but can be a plain crystal geode if you turn it off. It emits a soft glow which also lets you customize its hue to your liking in-game as well! The Sun Goddess Mirror can also be placed at any height you choose, similar to paintings in the game.

This hair was inspired by Lindsay Lohan's hairstyle at that recent red carpet-event. I've been learning more and more about hair meshing, my goal is to one day make my own completely from scratch, but for now - adding to existing hairs is good enough for me!
It is a very long hairstyle, but I think I managed to get it working quite well with the breast sliders! Feel free to give me feedback, as I'm still learning. Also *ahem*, there's totally nothing going on in the background!!👀
As the preview photo mentions, it is 7,5K polygons, comes in all 24 EA swatches, and is hat compatible.

Here it is! I finally finished this set I've always wanted to make, but a few months ago would have felt impossible. My summer cottage as a kid used to have an outhouse, making this set precious and nostalgic to me.
I've tried to tune all the functional objects (sink + toilet) so that they make sense for an outhouse. For example, sims can't flush the outhouse toilet, they work off-the-grid, etc. It won't be perfect, but I did my best! They also shouldn't break, since there isn't any plumbing.
Another fun detail is that I designed my own book covers for the hanging book next to the makeshift sink. There is a unique cover for each of the 9 EA wood swatches that all assets come in. Many of these items should also be versatile and usable in other builds!

However, I have received a lot of comments with confusion about this, so I have started writing out the month name on sets that came out after, like on the latest Enchanted Bedroom set.

This set was super fun to make and I learned a lot of things for it, one of them being how to make custom bedding deform properly while animating. It was very frustrating for a while, but satisfying once I got it.
