W.I.P. #11 | New Month, New Project
Hello hello everybody! 🥰
As a new month begins, so does a brand-new set! Continuing the Nancy series, I felt like I needed to let my creativity loose and tackle one of the most fun rooms in the house: the nursery!
Infants and kids are often overlooked when it comes to CC, so I really wanted to give them some love this month. 🥹 This nursery is going to have a timeless feel, with pieces that look like they could have been passed down through generations and still fit perfectly into the room today.
The set started with a cute infant crib! At first, I had the structure and mattress as one object, but my obsession with having approximately 50 swatches convinced me to separate them into two pieces. This way, you can mix and match the structure and bedding colors however you like!
I wanted the crib to feel as grand as possible since I imagine it being the main focal point of the room. The bedding comes in a mix of fun and neutral colors, with some adorable animal prints alongside timeless patterns like diamonds and stripes.
Finally, I started working on a toy trunk! It is nowhere near finished yet, but I wanted to show you guys where I'm at. Right now, the design revolves around these hand-painted ducks, although I’m considering replacing them with some EA assets to make the whole thing feel a little more seamless. This month, I’m really trying to put all my focus into the quality of each item rather than quantity, and I hope you guys can appreciate that! 🥰♥️
