Surge laughed at the compliment about Sabrina hosting. It was true. Sabrina would be the type to stare at people. "You're right." He agreed about Giovanni's part, but truthfully, he wasn't interested in Giovanni, only Koga.

Matis took a drag of his cigarette, and took the ash out, putting the rest away. He entered the apartment, and stood in the kitchen with Koga. "Coffee smells good." He said, taking a cup for himself.

“well we’ll think about it I suppose. I mean its not a rush at all, I just enjoy living close to my classes and knowing that Janine is in the area.” He yawned a bit, opening a window so surge could go smoke while he made a small cup of coffee to tie over his minor caffeine withdrawal. “I’m not the best host so if there is anything you need or want me to do just let me in on it.”

The blond nodded, stepping outside. He already made up his mind with moving in with his friend. "You say this all the time, Koga. 'I'm not a really good host.'" Surge said, looking at the other and taking out a cigarette. "I think you do better at hosting things then me, Sabrina, and Giovanni combined." The military man laughed, lighting the cigarette.

“if you would like to move in I see no problem since Janine isn’t able to live with me… And in the case that she is permitted I am positive that something could be arranged, such as moving location or furniture or something…” Koga always just wanted to include Janine with everything he did, he knew it was a habit he would have to break. “Just don’t agree because you are doing it for me, only move in with the school’s permission if you decide that it is what you want to do. The only people that stop by are Janine and hanbei once in a blue moon.” He nodded “like I said the only noise ever is when there is a murder occurring two floors up.”

Surge was silent for a bit. Did he really need the school's permission to live on campus with his pal? He taught there as well. He shrugged. It was best to inform the people who are paying him. "I'll talk to the housing place and see what I can do." He gave the other a smile, entering the apartment. "Janine is like my daughter as well, so I wouldn't mind if she moved in. Just saying, if she did, my house would be bigger." He winked at the other, because it was a two bedroom house, with plenty of space and lots of room for privacy.

“well I moved to the staff appartments in hopes that Janine could live with me, but it seems that only students who are seniors can live outside of the dorms. I don’t understand why she can’t just live with me, I am her father and she wanted to live with me too. It’s just such a pain. I would take up your offer, but I just enjoy the convience of having a two person appartment on campus so I don’t need to travel to my early classes too fast. If that makes sense. I don’t see why you don’t live in the staff appartments, it would be much closer to your office. I mean the only complaint I have is that one of the rooms, a single, causes a lot of racket and I live on the first floor and can hear it. But I’m sure it must be worse for those near the room itself so I don’t complain, it’s easy to drown out with television.” He continued on, leading surge to the patio of his appartment before unlocking the door and letting him in. Poison types napped calmly in a few corners of the main room. “There is two bedrooms in this flat, but with Janine gone its really empty.

"Two bedrooms?" Surge said, thinking about the opportunity about moving in with his friend. "I like living off campus. I don't get to see students when school isn't in session." Surge smiled, though, living with Koga, he could tolerate the students. Hopefully.

"Well, if you need a housemate, or something, I wouldn't mind moving in with you."

“well we are both here now so we might as well just be on our way right? I mean, I actually think I still have some stuff from New Years for you if you want. Lets just let the winds bring us where they are going to carry us and go from there?” Koga stood up, fixing his own scarf before holding the door open for the other. “I still live in the staff appartments on campus so it’s a short walk.”

"You still live in the staff apartments?" He asked, before leaving the gym office and heading with the other towards the staff apartments. "I would have thought you and Janine would be living somewhere off campus." He smiled. "How about you move in with me? I still have that two bedroom house off campus. We can share a room, and if Janine is still living with you, she can have the second room?"

"why don't we just buy something to drink and go to my place? I really don't like spending too much money on bar drinks to be honest when we could unwind at my place. We can open a window or something so you can smoke while I prepare coffee if you are still interested. I mean I have a bunch of bottles of wine and sake but I doubt that suits your fancy."

Surge rubbed his chin and nodded, liking the idea. "Sounds good." He stood up and wrapped the scarf around his neck so it could be tighter and warm him up a bit. "Are you ready, or should I wait for you somewhere?"

“I can make one in green and black, I just figured that you would want yellow. You know, electricity. koga nodded an paced across the room, taking a seat besides the other. “I would love to join you for coffee, though I don’t smoke myself… I broke that when I had Janine.” He was a light smoker in his youth, never really addicted at all. Just now and then, a social thing. While the other was busy typing he wrapped the scarf he had knit around the other’s neck, nodding when it seemed a good fit. “I hope you don’t mind, I got a bit carried away when knitting scarves.”

Surge knew the other quit after having Janine, but still invited him so they could talk. Surge just needed to finish passing the students when he felt something wrap around his neck. The blond looked down, and saw the scarf. He smiled and shook his head. "I love it. I've been meaning to get some winter clothes." He laughed and logged off the computer. "You don't have one in cameo, or green, or black?"

Koga had been on a knitting spree, well least until Janine’s birthday planning. With all of that over now and with no ball to chaperone or dating forum to wait on; surge was finally a free man to do whatever he pleased, and with that he begun to knit. He had already made an assortment of scarves, but now he was working on some blankets. Now that Janine lived in the dorm he could bring them to her as gifts as a way to go visit without seeming over bearing. As he knit he looked at some of them and wondered how surge was taking to the cold. The man usually wore a tanktop all the time, koga assumed that he was least wearing a coat but he still figured he was probably cold. As an excuse to go visit his friend he grabbed two scarves off the pile and made his way to the others offices inviting himself in silently without asking, he stepped inside and have a little waves “hello there, am I interrupting?”

Surge was busy typing at the computer. Putting in passing grades for the students that showed up to class. He was about to go get some coffee, and go smoke, when he heard the office door open. He looked up, and smiled when he saw it was Koga. "Of course not. Come on in." He said, inviting the ninja master to take a seat.

"I was just about to get some coffee and go outside for a smoke. Care to join me?"
