Late post //
Grateful for the opportunities 2016 has brung. The opportunity to paint for Made Lumber Supply has been an awesome experience. Building relationships with client turned friends is what sign painting can be all about. The mutual belief in hand painted quality & beauty in brush strokes.

More super fun saws
I also do chalkboards!
Fun custom Chalkboard for Five Star Barber Shop. We went with the black Frame. Looks very sleek which I like. Layout was the most important priority on this price list. I keep an inch from the border and had to adjust some of the lettering sizes for all the lines to fit. Casual lettering and Casual script. Very pleased with the outcome with chalk anesthetic.. I hope to do more chalk in the future

12.4.15 ~4hrs // My first official gig today at Big Sky Tech. Super technical sign, single color, 6ft x 4 ft logo. Jordan had last min plans so he couldn’t help me out today, but it was a positive to paint on my own.
First time also using a projector to outline the logo onto the wall. It really wasn’t that bad. It only took a little more time to outline then tape out the mountain peaks.
Outlining and taping the peaks were the longest part. Tape makes me nervous when I take it off. But overall happy with the frog tape product.
The rest was fun. Definitely in my zone. I sorta need a better system with the mineral spirits and paint. I found myself spending more time than I would’ve liked dipping.
Overall it was a success! They loved it and appreciated the time spent in executing a hand painted sign.
Great turn out at the SD Vintage Flea Market. Busy day I didn’t get to take many pics. You know it’s a good day when you run out of business cards! Hope the potential clients come through. Shout out to Rana for swinging by, so I could take a break. My first umbrella pop up was in the middle of the last row and gained a lot of traffic. Sold a profitable amount of hand painted goods + met a fellow local Sign Painter. Looking forward to linking up soon and have a paint sesh. Hope to do this again next year, maybe sooner than later! .
Fun being featured at the snoice grand opening! 10.24.15
Completed Coroplast boards for a sidewalk sign for Snoice. First time painting on a coroplast plastic type board and its almost as good as a completely flat surface. The boards are fluted meaning they’re hallow inside with some ridges. This is a 24″ x 36″ board made for a sidewalk sign that’ll be placed outside the business. Overall really happy with the visibility of the sign and its simplicity. That’s considering that most people who will read the sign will be in their cars driving by, so hopefully by going with an over sized arrow, Snoice will attract more customers. I also hope there’s some good in the world and no one fucks with it, since it’ll be on the sidewalk. Colors used were 1 shot peacock blue, process blue, reflex blue, chamois, medium gray, and black.
Looking forward to the grand opening & hopefully painting more signs for them!

And thank you Snoice for choosing a hand painted quality sign!
Pulling off some last minute goods for Snoice grand opening!
Finally got my business cards and stickers in! This is version 1 of my business card. Next version will be refined. The quality is definitely impressive considering the low costs.
Great times exhibiting at this year's SD Zine Fest! Lots of great take aways and awesome artists and people. Good tunes, food, and free beer made it pretty much a party. The Bread & Salt gallery is an awesome space with garage doors and an outdoor and indoor exhibit area. I hope San Diego has more events like these. Definitely a fun and creative atmosphere. I hope to be a part of it again next year!
