im going to say something so controversial yet so brave

every time i see someone go from one of the older games to ts4 gameplay then to JUST posting renders from ts4 they literally always end up quitting the franchise all together and never posting again or quitting very shortly after and it’s like. yeah…you went from having a silly little time to playing expensive virtual barbie which there’s nothing wrong with if that’s TRULY your thing but it always seems like that’s what people switch to to be popular rather than that being what they like and then they burn out idk man close blender go back to deleting pool ladders for a little bit

this is so true. y'know i actually think people have more fun on the official sims forum compared to here because they just post random screenshots with no story and no worries about it looking cute.

i honestly can shamefully confess that at one point i began to lose the passion i had for a childhood game i found comfort in literally bc of how meticulous i was over my edits, portraits, etc.. started reverting back to just posting shit quality screenshots of my sims being silly and have never felt more free. we have to remember that these are fucking cartoons. good lord

Jk this is so fucking true! It starts to feel like how can I outdo myself instead of just having fun. I been wanting to just play my game for so long but as soon as I get in CAS I feel like the ideas for renders never stop and I can’t just enjoy it anymore if that makes sense. I def don’t think it’s controversial and I feel glad you said it! Ty for shaking a bitch up I’m gonna go delete some pool ladders and play ts3 find my little happy space in my made up world again
