In a close intimate relationship with my sorrows
Alex Dimitrov, from “Living in Time” [ID in ALT]
home pt.2
Time passes in a strange way, new people call your home their home. Maybe your home isn't your home anymore, its just another living room with a broken door and a basil plant by the window.
Maybe you dont know where home is anymore.
watching the sunset at a grocery parking lot is like omgggg love is so so real and i feel really good now
home
its a weird feeling to call a place home
you werent born there, you didnt grow up there
a small moment in time made a place your home
sometimes it doesnt feel real
like the memories and the connections are all made up, something out of a dream
like i havent walked on that pavement to the tram with my friend, late at night with two funky drinks after a bad meal
like i didnt fall in love in that room with the broken window.
it all ended too soon too fast. too painful
there is something so solitary about being in love.
as you're driving through some village road and you hear this cute love song on the radio you can't help but smile to yourself thinking about them. theyre not there. theyre not even anywhere close, miles away. but here you are, alone in your car, you're in love and one song is enough to bring them here and make you happy. even though you'll be on your own for a little while longer.
I am tired. These people make me feel I have a hole in the middle of me.
— D.H. Lawrence, from The Complete Works; The Plumbed Serpent
I think my feelings for you are genuinely fading away. I thought I’d never get over you, but now I find myself deleting those pictures, deleting those little memories, traces of you are slowly leaving my heart. The butterflies are fluttering away, the blush on my cheeks is disappearing, the idiot grin I had when I thought of you is turning into a blank expression.
I’m starting to feel grateful that it didn’t work out, when just months ago I was heartbroken over it. I’m realizing how wrong you are for me, how damaging my feelings for you were, just overall how bad the situation was.
But the thing is, if I could go back and make it so that I never liked you in the first place, I wouldn’t change it. The whole experience taught me so many lessons that if it weren’t for how it played out, I wouldn’t have learned. So thank you, for being both the best and worst person that I have fallen for.

; im lighting the lighter in my hand over and over again, it reminds me how monotone life is, how every day is the same and every move i make is meaningless, it reminds me of you, the little flicker of fire that leaves as soon as i stop, just like you. sure, i got over you by now but the heat from the fire you set in me never left, you left..
~ i look at the lighter in my hand and all i can see are meaningless days and painful memories
road trips, summer rain and sad songs
~ some of the things that remind me of our memories,
the memories that turn into nightmares when its 2am and all i can think about is you
all alone
am i really all alone,
drowning in my feelings
with no one to save me
am i really so lost,
that no one can find me
-
i guess i'll always be alone
losing myself in bad thoughts
