How to prevent yourself from going deeper into your ed
This is for the people who feel themselves starting to develop an ed, and sometimes you don't know what to do so you just let it be and then you end up like one of us crackheads, so I've made a list of things you can do to prevent yourself from developing an/worsening your ed. These are just a few things so feel free to add more in the comments. Keep in mind i am not a professional therapist or anything, but these are things that have helped before
Find ANYONE you can talk to. If you can afford a therapist, please go see one. If you can't afford a therapist try talking to a family member and explain to them how you're feeling about food and your body, if not a family member then a friend, if not a friend then your school counselor, if not a school counselor then literally even a random nice person on the internet will do. Just talk to anybody and get help.
If you can't get help at all, that's okay and don't feel bad about it.
2) Do not weigh yourself and stop looking in the mirror
Hide the scale, destroy it, just avoid it idc what you do, DO. NOT. WEIGH. YOURSELF. I don't need to explain any more about it, imagine the scale is your biggest enemy, it's caused all your problems in life so beat that lil bitch.
Wear baggy clothes at home and don't look at your body in the mirror. If you feel the need to do it, distract yourself. Play your favorite game, read your favorite book, watch a movie, even better: cook your favorite meal!
3) Associate good things with food
That pasta you're starting to hate? Remember when you ate it on your 5th birthday and spilled it all over yourself? That pizza you're starting to despise? Remember when your friends came over for a sleepover that one time and you spent all your money on pizzas and watching corny horror movies? Remember when you tried to bake brownies but almost burnt your kitchen down? These are just examples, but find good memories in your life that have food included and write them down, and don't lie and say you have none because EVERYONE has at least one good memory with food. For example I love cake because it's associated with birthdays and I love birthdays, i also love decorating cakes, so I can't bring myself to hate cake. Or i like pizza because it's Italian food and Italy is a beautiful country. Anything will do but find good associations.
4) Eat healthy food and exercise right
It's literally impossible to feel bad about eating healthy food and exercising. Your confidence grows like crazy when you exercise, plus healthy food is delicious af and your body and mind will thank you for it in the long run
Istg just do it. Delete it, delete it, DELETE it. Don't ever download it or go on the website it'll never do you any good. Just run away.
