So I watched the Superman movie directed by James gunn, and something is now abundantly clear to me.

A DC movie we need desperately?

A Batman and Robin, directed by James gunn.

it's about time we gave the Dark Knight a Robin again in mainstream movies.

I think they must have been avoiding it to choose writing cool and mysterious brooding batman movies? but we've had a lot of those now, and I wanna see something a little new.

If anyone can pull off making cringe (good way, I like the cringe), comic book stuff actually translates to the cinema. It's James gunn.
