Member: Jay Park x Reader
Summary: You loved Jay, and Jay loved you just as much. It’s the little things that count.
You loved taking drives. Maybe that was why you and your boyfriend, Jay Park, took so many drives. You probably spent more time on road trips than in your own house. Most times, Jay didnt even know where he was driving, but that made it more exciting for you both. Well, it was exciting until you got lost and had to ask for directions.
You and Jay met at a party over 5 years ago, and had been inseparable ever since. You two started dating the month after you met and now a perfectly small ring adorned your left ring finger. He proposed on the side of the road after his car broke down in the middle of nowhere. It was simple, but perfect.
Something about Jay made your heart swell with love and affection. Maybe it was his laugh, or the way he held you hand, or how he always came home at 10 p.m. or earlier so you two could have a night together. Maybe it was because he always held you when you slept, or the hours you two spent laying together, speaking about conspiracy theories and aliens because you had exhausted every other subject in existence.
You are snapped out of your thoughts as you see the ocean. Your hair flies about in the wind flowing in the moving car from the open windows and sunroof. Your hand is extended, hanging out of the window as your fingertips become cold, but you couldn’t care less. Looking to your left, you watch Jay’s demeanor. He’s relaxed back into his seat with one hand on the steering wheel and the other linked with yours.
You loved to watch the blue ocean move and swirl with waves as you drove past and suddenly you have the urge to go into the ocean.
“Jay, let’s go into the water,” You say. He turns his head to look at you and shrugs, nodding his head as he parks his car on the side of the road. The two of you hop out and walk down to the shore, looking out at the vast horizon, where anything is possible and no limits exist.
You slip off your shirt and kick off your shorts, adorning a bathing suit underneath, knowing you were going to be driving by the ocean. Jay does the same and he smiles warmly at you.
Jay picks you up in one swift movement, throwing you over his shoulder like you’re weightless and running into the water, carrying you with him.
You scream out, struggling around and hoping he doesn’t do what you know he’s about to do.
“Jay! Jay! Put me down! Jay!” You scream, laughing all the while. He runs until his knees are submerged under the surface of the ocean. You scream as he drops you into the cold water, the low temperature feeling similar to ice. You surface, jumping at your laughing fiancée and tackling him under the surface of the water. You two surface again and he stands up, pulling your soaking wet frame with him. He secures his hand around your waist and pulls you against his chest, rocking back and forth. After a few seconds, you break from his embrace and run further into the water.
As you get deeper, you hear Jay groan in protest as he idly chases after you. You throw your head back and laugh as the cold water gets higher up on your body. Jay’s arm snakes around your waist and pulls your body to his, pressing a loving kiss to your awaiting lips. You swoon, leaning into the kiss.
“I love you,” He says. You laugh, placing your face on his chest.
“I love you too,” You reply. You two splash around in the water for a little while before returning to the shore. You two collect your clothes and walk to his car. He opens his trunk and pulls out the two towels you two always have in the trunk in case of swimming or rainstorms.
You wrap yourself in your towel and grab the blanket that has been back there forever. Jay dries off and places the towel on his chair. You follow suit, placing your towel on your chair and getting into the car, covering up with the blanket. Jay slips his shirt on and starts the car again.
This time, all the windows are closed and the heater is on full blast because both of you are freezing to death. Jay intertwines his hand with yours over the center console, making your hand feel warm.
“One day we should just start to drive and never come back,” he says. “Just pull a Bonnie and Clyde.” You laugh.
“Jay, Bonnie and Clyde were criminals,” You point out. “I don’t know if we want to aim to be pegged as mass murderers.”
“I dont care what I’m pegged as as long as I’m with you,” he says, smiling at you lovingly.
“Eyes on the road, lover boy,” you tease. “When did you get so cliché?” You joke playfully, running your index finger along the back of his hand. “I’m joking, Jay. As long as I’m with you, I don’t care what we do,” You assure him.
“Even if we become Bonnie and Clyde?” He jokes. You laugh.
“Even if we become Bonnie and Clyde.”
