Why? Pencil and paper, is a must!
-Prečo? Ceruzku a papier, to je nutnosť!-
When you see something that catches your eye, and your phone is dead, just sketch it, or when some inspiration kicks in, sketch it.
-Keď uvidíš niečo čo ťa upúta, treba to skečnúť, ak je práve mobil vybitý alebo keď ťa práve kopne múza, treba to skečnúť. -
When you have to wait somewhere and there is nothing interesting to do on your phone, sketch something.
-keď musíš niekde čakať a v mobile ťa už nič nebaví, skečni niečo.-
When traveling in train or bus gets boring, sketch something on paper. If your cell phone doesn't capture exactly what you're feeling, while looking at something interesting, and it's missing.
In this way, interesting moments and works are somehow created, from which large works are then made.
This sketching is a 100% great training you get and you don't even realize it, because it's super relaxing, and while sketching you always earn something new, and this is something you really need while developing your own art.

• When looking at a statue of human or animal, one often wonders if it cannot come to life... how would it be like if the statue suddenly came to life? ... the feeling is sometimes scary.. •
-Pri pohľade na sochu človeka, zvieraťa, často človeka napadne, či nemôže ožiť... aké by to bolo keby zrazu socha ožila?... niekedy až strašidelné..-
When learning how to sketch the human body, we gave the sketched statues live eyes because we wanted to know what they would look like if they were alive.. Those statues were ancient, roman, renaissance, etc... and it looked quite realistic.
-Pri učení skicovania ľudského tela, sme naskicovaným sochám dávali živé oči, lebo sme chceli vedieť ako by vyzerali keby boli živý.. boli to sochy antické, rímske, renesančné atď.. vyzerali dosť realisticky.-
I remember how I sketched in the bus on a way home, it was a statue of "David" by Donatello, and young man that sat next to me looked quite nervous and ashamed because it was an act (the statue is naked) .. I didn't realize it at all, because I take statues as pure human body... I only realized this at home, why the young man looked weird... XD
XD-
Since we are a team, it could be said that we each have a completely different focus on stuff, but we work as a team as a group of people with similar interests. So too we try everything new and interesting, different materials and techniques together.
If I have to remember the same first encounter with the creation of statuettes was a long time, it was statuettes made of wood..
-Ak si mám spomenúť tak samé prvé stretnutie s tvorením sošiek bolo veľmi dávno, boli zo sošky z hliny a dreva...-
A few years ago we had a relaxing weekend in nature, goulash, barbecue and just chilling.. suddenly there was a lot of time left and what to do with it .. There was a little river nearby and white clay in it, so why not try anything.. The entertainment was taken care of...
-Pred niekoľkými rokmi sme mali relax víkend v prírode, guláš, grilovanie a totálne nič nerobenie.. Zrazu zostalo more času a čo s ním.. A o zábavu bolo postarané...-
And here are the creations
-a tu sú výtvory.-
Even in winter you can create outside ..
-Aj v zime sa dá tvoriť vonku..-
In our country under the mountains, it usually snows a lot and what about the snow when it has to be removed from the yard. Looking at a pile of snow, you can think of something to make out of that pile ..
Although our fingers were frostbitten, but we had to try.
-síce omŕzaju prsty, ale museli vyskúšať-
Art-concrete.. fascinating and huge opportunity for creative use.
-Art-concrete.. fascinujúce a obrovské množstvo kreatívneho využitia-
About two years ago, when all the work was done, and we had no new ideas... We were surfing interesting things on the Internet and somehow we met with art-concrete.
It was interesting.
-Bolo to zaujímavé.-
It's not just about creating the classic or modern sculptures and reliefs, it is a combined art and plastering work. This technique is very interesting, as well as its use, artistic and at the same time utility.. So we studied the whole process and preparation.. And during the summer of 2020 we realized the creation..
..and here are our first results..
-holiday relaxation with concrete-
-a tu sú naše prvé výsledky..-
-dovolenkový relax s art-concrete-

Preservation of tradition - painting easter eggs "SUCHÁ DOLINA"
"the tradition of easter egg wax painting with libačka and dyeing them is almost forgotten"
This tradition was purely handled by female artistic activity (which the great-grandmother remembers) and it happened always in the afternoon of the easter Sundays.
The skill, artistic expression in painting was admirable.
- flowers, leaves, twigs, ornaments, symbols of awakening nature, magic symbols of love - example rakes
"Libačka" was a tool made and used by women who learned it all by themselves. It used for painting/writing on the easter eggs.
Preparations of the dyes were a big alchemy cause the color had to stay on the egg shell.
The process of painting the eggs with wax, putting it in the dye, then covering some parts with again with wax and putting them back in the dye so they would be colorful even more, was being taught from an early age and sold from generation to generation.
The last part of making the easter eggs was cleaning the egg from the wax, which was done very carefully so the dye didn't fade or got scratched.
The next day — easter Monday — girls, women gifted these easter eggs to boys and men who came to splash them with water,
the tradition of getting splashed by water means that girls/women would stay healthy and clean for the whole year until next easter.
