"I'm going to talk to her anyway." Aramil replied, knowing that he should have disciplined Aevon a bit by now. She could run for adventures but should do so in moderation. He knew that his daughter was impetuous, but sometimes he was beginning to get the impression that it was downright morbid overactivity.
"And Nevermore is the most peaceful dragon in the land. She won't hurt you, but if you want I'll ask Aevon to let her go into the forest." Aramil added, squatting on the sofa.
"I am sure that I was like that at her age. Not so much with a dragon but always trying to find adventures of some kind." Lilliyan told him. She knew what he meant though. He wanted his daughter to be safe and he was clearly a better father than her father had been. "I can already tell you are a great father."
Lilliyan listened to him and shook her head. "No. You don't have to ask her to do that. As you say, she is peaceful. Its just a surprise when I haven't really seen a dragon before. I've heard about them but not actually seen or heard one until today." She said as she sipped her drink.
