Thanks for 24,000 followers. I know it's just a number, but i think everyone counts in the bigger picture. It makes me really happy to be able to spread awareness around not only AB/DL stuff and having a littleside, but also about being neurodivergent and being differeny in that way.
When i first started my tumblr blog, things were very different for me. I was a very different person, and i was also in a totally different circumstance.. I didn't have any friends or connections to anyone but my parents, wich didn't leave me with much of an output to socialize. I was generally just a very awkward, insecure boy that just didn't really fit in anywhere or with anyone. Although i really wanted friends, it overwhelmed me immensely to meet anyone in person. When I found my outlet by blogging online, it was way easier and it gave me somewhat of a safe space that I could retreat to, and place that I could manage without being overwhelmed. I also learned to socialize more and found not only friends for life, but also a boyfriend that I've been together about 8 years now.
Now so many years later looking back at how much it changed me to have that place to reach out to, it really did change my life a lot. I was a bit scared in the start to put myself out there, but doing so has given me way more than I could ever possibly give back.
Although I'm still somewhat socially awkward and easily overwhelmed by socializing and the world in general, I don't feel alone anymore.
So thanks a lot for including me and for being so friendly and welcoming, It really does mean the world to me. And although I don't post as much as I used to, I really do appreciate the love, relatability and support that this community has and still gives me everyday.
