- uses kids products to help motivate showers, brushing teeth and brushing hair
- cocoons themself in plushies and blankets, staying in bed all day and barely sleeping at night
- uses kids dishes and nastolgic meals when struggling with low appetite
- uses a sticker chart and reward system to try and feel excited and productive about chores
- cling to fictional cgs from comfort shows
- use diaps when they are too tired to get up to potty
- whine for a cg they don't have
- struggle to remember to eat, shower, change clothes, brush their hair or teeth or take medicine
- struggle to get excited about their interests
- lack the energy and/or time to regress
- struggle with nightmares and use their stuffies to comfort then
- only have the energy to be a completely dependent baby and nothing more
- who are both too scared to ask to be cared for, but also too uncomfortable to regress alone
- who feel a ton of shame, anxiety or guilt during and/or after regressing
- who can only age dream due to intrusive thoughts or anxiety
- who rely on regression completely for getting out of bed in the morning and falling asleep at night
been so depressed recently so I thought I'd share this. I truly could go on and on about how my regression is integral to my depression. I hope some of you can feel seen from this !
attach charms to your keychain, carry around a smaller backpack, listen to nostalgic SFW music, play with fidget toys and chewables, cut your food up into fun shapes, wear overalls or rompers, look at kidcore or childhood blogs, color with crayons or markers, have tons of patterned socks, put at least one plush on your bed, cover your water bottle in stickers, drink juice with one of your meals, style your hair with funky clips, enjoy wholesome video games, sleep in long fuzzy animal onesies, buy yourself a fuzzy blanket, use pins all over your backpack, watch disney / studio ghibli movies, have a nightlight for your bedroom, try to not use bad language and be kind and caring to others!

Jay and Cole
• Jay started agere when end were 12 because of the stress of living in a poor home and ends dysmorphia and dysphoria
• Cole started when he was 16. It was from stress trying to be a leader when he joined the team. He also had stress thinking he would have to run away from the monastary, like he did from his father
• Jay was the first to be public about ends agere with the ninja
• It was unintentional though..
• This event happened after the season Pilot
• Jay was just having a bad day, so end started to slip while playing videogames with Cole
• Cole won the game so Jay had a little tantrum about the fact that end lost
• Cole wasn't confused on what Jay was doing, but surprised end were acting the same way Cole would in his own little space
• Nya, hearing it from the next room over, was confused and was trying to get answers from Jay, but Jay just started to sulk in ends anger

• Nya got the Zane and Kai to see if they knew what the heck is with their behavior
• Kai knew about it, but he let Zane explain what it was, from the evidence he was given about Jay and Cole
• Afterwards, Nya, Zane, and Kai would get comfort toys on every shopping trip for Jay and Cole
• The other ninja were like caregivers, but Jay's official Caregivers are Edna and Ed
• Jay visits them often and Ed and Edna love to take care of their baby 💘
• Cole had the other ninja for a while, but after connecting with his father again, Lou was his Caregiver. But only if Cole is in town, unfortunately...
• Cole's caregiver that he sees more is Roise after season 6
Lloyd
• Lloyd's started Agere after he aged up from the Tea. So, physically, 14 years when it started. It was a lot for his body to adjust to, and to also be a strong leader to protect the city
• It was only 2 weeks after it when he regressed for the first time
• Which was also with the Ninja, while they were at the park
• Lloyd started to feel calm with all of the ninja, which made him slip into littlespace
• Zane noticed the change in his behavior so they let the other ninja know how he was acting
• None of them wanted to say anything, but they did act softly around to help him feel ok. They didn't say anything until their picnic lunch.
• Lloyd's negative emotions all of a sudden started to overwhelm him, so he started to bawl at the lunch
• The ninja immediately went for him and helped him calm down
• When he started feeling better, the ninja decided to move their lunch to the Bounty, so they could also get Jay's and Cole's comfort items for Lloyd to borrow
• When they started to explain what was happening with him, Lloyd felt like he shouldn't do this since he was the leader
• But over time, the ninja started to make him feel better about being the kid he never got to be with reassurance and making sure he felt comfortable
• Garmadon was his caregiver until the season 4 finale. After that it was Wu
Nya
• Nya started Agere after Zane's death because she felt like she needed to help the entirety of the team recover. Which was a lot for one person like her
• About 2 weeks before season 4, they felt comfortable telling the ninja about it
• Kai was a littlespace playdate caregiver for them until after season 5, the role was taken by Papa Ronin :)
• It was around here, before season 4, when they all decided to tell Wu about their Agere. They were nervous that Wu would think it was a childish thing to do, which is why they delayed telling him
• He was shockingly more supportive than the ninja were expecting
• He then started to help take care of Nya, Jay, Lloyd, and Cole with the other ninja at this point
Kai and Zane
• Kai started Agere when he was 14. Having to mature at a young age, take care of his sister, and having a horrible babysitter, made him regress to when he felt happy as a really young kid
• He didn't tell the others about his Agere, even after he learned the others did it
• The others doing it convinced him he needed to be the big brother for them.
• He never planned to tell them, but one of the ninja found out a bit after Day of the Departed
• Only him and that other ninja were in the monostary
• He felt himself slipping so he tried to stay out of the same room as them so they wouldn't notice....
• Then his little self got clumsy and tripped in the kitchen room, banging his head against the counter
• Zane ran in the room to see what was wrong, and the sight he saw was Kai on the floor crying and babbling from the stress and pain
• Even after Zane got Kai to calm down, he was still babbling from what was happened
Z: Kai, what's wrong?
K: M-m-m
Z: Little one......
K: NO!!! I'M MOT A WITTL WONE!!!! I'M A CAWEGIVW LIKE YOU!!!
Z: Hey, hey, it's ok-
K: NO!! IT ISN'T!!! I CAN'T BE WITTL!!! I-I-I

• Zane started his Agere after season 4
• I mean, dieing and being captured and tortured in Chen's dungeon would cause a lot of stress
• They didn't tell the others for the same reason Kai had, they felt compelled to be an adult to help their friends
• PIXAL as a AI tried to convince Zane the others about, but they refused
• After that day, they would hang out with each other as littles by themselves
• It wasn't until right before season 7 that some of the other ninja started to find out
° When the ninja moved into their new home, they used one of the spare rooms to have a set up for when the other ninja are Little
• The other ninja had left for .... something.... I'm not sure for this. So Kai and Zane were hanging out in the Little Room, bringing there secret comfort toys with them
• But, Cole came earlier than they expected, since Cole was gonna grab his drawing supplies then come back to the other ninja
• While Cole was back, he didn't know where Zane and Kai were, so he went to look for them. Soon finding them in the Little room
• It was a shock for everyone in that moment
• Zane then tried to say it wasn't what it looked like.... As he was wearing a oversized T-shirt with a fox plushie in his hands and Kai having a oversized hoodie with a bunny plushie and a pacifier in his mouth
• Cole didn't judge them though, he just wanted to know why they never said anything about it
• Neither of them really wanted to explain, but Zane spoke up about it. Kai stayed quiet and even tried to stay at the other side of the room from Cole
• But Cole made sure they he didn't mind this and trying to make sure they were comfortable
• Cole decided to stay with them to help them in their littlespace
• A hour later, Jay came back since Cole didn't tell them why he hadn't come back with the group
• Jay found them sleeping in a cuddle pile in the little room. End saw the kid clothes Kai and Zane were wearing and Jay figured it out
• Jay called the others that Cole wanted to stay instead as an excuse for them
• Jay stayed too and waited for one of them to wake up so they could talk to Zane or Kai for hiding their littlespaces
• After that day, Cole and Jay would play with Kai and Zane if they were all little
• Kai and Zane later on told Nya, Lloyd, and Wu on their own terms without "Being Discovered"
• They were all supportive and worried about the stress they must have been feeling trying to be adults
° Lloyd's first time seeing Kai as a little was during the night because Kai had a nightmare. Lloyd helped him feel better and they slept on the couch from watching Cars 2
° Nya's first time seeing Kai little was when she, him, and Ronin had a fun "Father-Children" day. Both of them slipped into their littlespaces, so Ronin had to take care of them
° Zane's first time slipping in front of them was on a training day with all of the ninja so everyone helped him feel safe and comfortable
• Between season 7 and 8, Zane told Cyrus Borg about their regression, so that Cyrus would know what to do if Zane slipped while they helped with Cyrus's machines
• Cyrus volunteered to be Zane's Caregiver, which Zane was happy to oblige with
"No! I will be the sacrifice and sleep on the couch!"
"Kai, you really don't need to. I'm sure we can figure out a way for all of us to sleep together."
"Zane. I am good. I wouldn't want any of you to be on the couch. Just sleep in my bed. I sleep in it all the time! I need a break from it!" Kai combated with a chuckle and a smirk.
His charm always got the others convinced in these stupid situations like this. But, they were still reluctant to go into Kai's room to sleep in.
The three were basically forced into the room by Kai.
"Goodnight!" Kai exclaimed to their lovers. And with that, he closed the door to his own room.
Well, it wasn't exactly their room.
An incident happened with them, their sibling, and their dad.
It was the kids' final straw and they dipped out of that horrible household.
Wu was nice enough to help them out and let them live in the ninja base.
It was actually a pretty nice home.
Big space to play in, it's all quiet because the warehouse was away from the city by a good distance, and they didn't need to travel that far whenever they needed their mechs.
Kai walked over to the 'living' room.
Just a corner of the training room, away from the mechs and training equipment.
Then, they set up a makeshift bed. Folded up spare blankets to separate them from the rough fabric of the couch, and a loose, thin one folded even more than the others as a pillow.
They could have grabbed another blanket to cover themselves, but it was Summer. They would be fine without a cover.
It took a while, but he fell asleep.

"AHHHH!"
Jay sat straight up in the bed. Zane and Cole started to wake up. Slower than Jay, but they all heard the same thing.
And they could still hear the screams.
"Who is that?!" Jay yelped as end leaped out of the bed.
Zane got off the bed next.
He gave an answer.
"It's Kai."
Cole didn't say anything. He just ran out of the room to where Kai said he was sleeping today.
Jay and Zane were right behind him.
It didn't take them too long for them to get to Kai and stop to see a heartbreaking sight.
The poor kid letting out screams and apologies while they jostled and turned in their sleep.
They weren't even on the couch anymore.
They fell off and they were still having what seemed to be a horrifying nightmare.
Zane knelt next to Kai and he carefully layed his hands on Kai's sides to keep them still.
"Wake up, Kai" Zane said gently.
"No! No! I'm sorry! Sorry sorry sorry!!!" Kai yelped, shaking his head back and forth to try and escape Zane's cold grasp.
Jay got on ends knees on the other side of Kai and end put a hand into their hair and the other hand on their side too.
Instead of keeping them still like Zane was, end shook him.
"Wake up, fireball!!"
"Jay, you shouldn't-"
Kai let out another yelp as their eyes shot open.
"Ahhhh!!"
They sat up quickly and left the others grasp. Their breathing quickened as tears started to flow from their eyes.
Cole sat down onto Kai's legs to keep them still and grasped their hands.
"Breathe with me, okay? Focus on your breathing, do you hear me?"
Cole placed Kai's hand on his chest to feel his breathing.
"Hey, hey, breathe.”
Kai finally started to calm down and their panic started to die out. Jay put ends hands onto Kai's shoulders and end rubbed them gently.
"Would you like to talk about this, Kai?"
...
Kai slumped into Jay's grasp.
“It's okay. You don’t have to tell us what it was about, but, we are here to listen, if you do wanna tell any of us.”
"Do you want me to make something to eat, take your mind off of it for a while?” Zane suggested, slowly getting back onto his feet.
Kai didn't say anything.
"Would you like me to stay with Cole and Jay with you?" He asked.
“I’m fine!.... Y-You don’t have to zztay....” Kai responded this time.
"We'll stay until you feel safer, alright?" Jay said. Kai nuzzled closer into Jay's hold.
Kai looked up at Zane, who was standing up now and lifted their hands and grasped for him.
Zane got the hint and walked to the group hug the others were having and joined it, grabbing one of Kai's hands to cool them down so they wouldn't overheat.
They stayed there repeating sweet nothings to Kai until they fell asleep again.
And also Jay, but it was around 2 AM.
They were all tired.

Their eyes slowly opened up and the sight the teen was given was the familiar ceiling of their bedroom.
Why was Kai here?
Didn't they sleep on the couch??
Kai sat up and rubbed their eyes.
Memories from last night started to come to them. They felt bad letting their loves worry for some stupid nightmare.
They looked around and was greeted with Zane in the bed with them.
Did Zane bring them here?
Jay and Cole must be on the couch then. They wouldn't be able to sleep next to Kai without burning up.
...
Wouldn't they??
They reached for the drawer next the bed and grabbed their chewlry. They put it on and started to chew on the little necklace.
They felt Zane shuffle next to Kai before Zane sat up as well and gave them a hug.
"Morning, baby." Zane said, with a kiss onto their cheek. Kai felt their face burn up a bit. They pulled the necklace out of their mouth and let it drap on his neck.
"Why... why am I in my bed?? I was sleeping on the couch. I could've stayed there instead of here."
"It is your room. You needed a more comfortable spot to sleep than the couch."
"But what about Cole and Jay? They aren't here. Did they sleep on the couch instead of me??"
"No. No. They slept here with us."
"But..."
Kai looked down away from Zane's sight.
"But what, Kai" Zane brought a hand onto Kai's face to make them look up at him.
"Did I make them uncomfortable??"
"Huh? What do you mean??"
"It is Summer and I'm the one with the Fire element..."
It took Zane a moment to connect the dots that Kai thought they connected.
"You may have the fire element, but it isn't as intense for others than you think it is. Just like my ice element. Even if it is Summer or if it was Winter for me."
Zane wrapped his arms around Kai again and tightened his grip.
"And I do want to say that Cole clung onto you the rest of night you were here in bed. But, I didn't tell you that and you never knew that...."
Zane looked at Kai and gave a wink. Kai looked at Zane with a look of relief and a small smile.
"Now, how about we have breakfast?" Zane questioned.
Kai nodded their head.
Zane decided to get off the bed and carry Kai off the bed bridal style.
"Wai'! Wai'! Borrizz" Kai yelped.
"Don't worry. I wouldn't forget her." Zane grasped for the drawer by the bed until he grabbed a plush.
A blue whale that Kai named Boris. They liked to chew on the toy's fins when they felt little. Luckily this was a safe toy to chew on.
Zane handed it to Kai and Kai immediately put one of the fins into their mouth.
"Now, don't lose your appetite from her fins." Zane joked.
"No! I never ea' Borizz!!"
Zane chuckled, "I know, my baby enby." Zane started to bring them out of the room and into the kitchen that Wu added to the warehouse when Kai and Nya moved in.
They were finally able to find Cole and Jay. They set up a simple pancake breakfast for each other and they were talking with each other.
"Hey you two!" Zane said. Jay and Cole got up to go over to Zane and Kai a smal hug.
"How is the baby enby doing??" Jay questioned. Kai brought a hand to Jay and nuzzled Jay's hair with a big smile.
"Seems they feel better." Cole responded. "Do you want to have pancakes??"
Kai nodded their head aggressively. Cole smiled at the adorable child. He walked over to the counter where the spare pancakes under a cover were set.
He set up a plate with two pancakes, some syrup, some strawberries, and whipped cream. Cole walked back to the table and set it in front of the colorful chair Kai sat in when they felt small.
Zane went the table and set Kai into the chair. Kai set the whale to the opposite side of their plate. They looked around a bit on the table for silverware but Jay was able to get a plastic, pink for for them to use.
But Jay first grabbed the plate and started to cut the food into bite-sized pieces.
Jay spoke to them. "I hope you like the food, little one."
Kai grabbed the fork next to them and started to eat their breakfast.
The others sat down at their respective chairs and started to talk about their plans for the day.
It didn't take too long for Kai to finish their breakfast. They set a hand on their full tummy, a little bored now that there was nothing for them to do.
They started to think about last night again.
The nightmare....
They didn't want to think about it...
But it wouldn't leave their head now...
"Kai?"
Kai looked over at the source of the voice. Cole seemed worried and he spoke to them.
Now that Kai looked around, Jay and Zane seemed worried too.
Kai felt something drop onto their hand.
Water...
They were tearing up.
Jay got out of end's chair and stood next to Kai.
"You okay, baby boo?"
Kai stayed quiet, but they got out of their own kiddy chair and hugged Jay.
"M-m-n-n-nightmawe..... Bad..."
"Oh, you thinking about that nasty dream?? You wanna talk about it??"
Kai hid their face into Jay's shoulder.
"Zcar..."
"What, Kai?"
"Th-the zcar... on eye...fwom papa"
...
"Was. Was it about that fight with your dad?"
They stayed silent for a moment. But they soon started to cry into Jay's shoulder. Jay tightened end's grip and the other came over to join the hug.
Tw Panic Attack, Minor Injury, Interpreted Monsters, Vent Regression
"Hurry up you dorks!!!"
The day before Halloween. The ninja had plans to go to out of town to this fall festival that everyone loved to go to. There was Apple Bobbing, DIY games, Ring Toss, rides.
And the ninja had went to all of them.
Except one.
The Corn Maze
It was one of the ninja favorite activites in the festival. Maybe it sounded like a childish thing to be excited to do, but the maze always added people and props in the maze to scare people going through it.
And the maze was always made into a unique shape on the map. The first time they have gone through the maze, it was a clown. Then it was made into a pumpkin the following year.
This year, it was...
Well, they didn't know yet. Even if it was getting dark, they were about to know.
If they picked up the pace with Jay.
"We are trying to!!" Nya yelled from the group that just couldn't keep up with the ninja who was obviously excited for this activity.
"Well, try harder!!" Jay screamed back, before turning the corner of the food lines, getting closer to the maze.
By the time the others got around the corner, Jay was gone.
"How the heck is end so fast?!?!" Cole bent down to catch their breath.
"I'm not sure. But let's hurry so Jay doesn't get lost on the way there." Zane went back to running the way that Jay went. The others soon after, following his steps.
Before Cole could follow them, he was stopped by someone talking to him.
"Hey!! I like your costume!!"
"Oh! Thanks!" Cole responded. It maybe wasn't Halloween yet, but they all still wanted to wear costumes.
Kai and Nya were lazy this year and they just wore their ninja outfits as a costume.
Cole was a wizard.
Jay was the Grim Reaper.
Zane originally was going to go with the ninja outfit like the Smiths, but Cole convinced them to go as a snowman.
And Lloyd was a polar bear.
The stranger walked over to Cole and gave him a high five.
"I like your clown costume, too. Bye!" Cole said, before going back to running towards the others.
Wasn't too long until they got to the start of the maze, near the barn. Jay was already in the barn, because that was where the display of the map was of the corn maze.
When the others got to the barn, Jay was already leaning over the map, admiring the shape of the maze.
"Guys! Finally! You're here! Look at the map!"
Cole leaned up against the door frame to catch their breath. "I'll be there in a second!"
The others walked over to Jay and looked at the map.
"So this year is a bat." Kai responded. "Very cool."
"Did they grow more corn on the borders? It looks bigger?"
"Pretty sure. I'm comparing it to last year's maze, and it does have more square feet this year."
"It seems it has a lot more of dead ends this year. We might get lost more easily." Lloyd looked to the table against the wall and saw a stack of papers with the map copied on it. He walked over and grabbed six of the papers.
"It might be safer to grab a map over here so we don't get lost." He said, holding them out for his friends to grab.
"Good idea." Cole, walking from the door, grabbed one.
"I'll have one, too" Nya grabbed one and put it in their backpack.
All of them had brought backpacks so it would be easier to carry the prizes they won. And also bring essentials like; water, first aid, phone, etc.
"I don't need a map. I already have it stored in my memory card."
"Alright then."
"I don't need one either. I can go through this maze. It looks simple enough."
"Kai, you can't be serious about going in this maze without a map."
"Actually, I wanted to try to go through the maze without a map too."
"Really, Jay?"
"Yeah! No Map Buddies!" Kai walked to Jay and hugged end. "Do you wanna buddy up in the maze?"
"I'm down for that idea."
"Actually, we should do buddy-ups so we have less of a chance to get lost." Nya announced to the team. Zane then walked over to Lloyd.
"Can I be your buddy, Lloyd?"
"I'd like that, Frosty."
"Hey! No one call Zane "Frosty" but me!" Cole then chased Lloyd.
Grabbed a laugh from the others.
"Well, I'll be Cole's buddy then."
"Alright, let's go!!" Jay said, before running out to the corn maze.
"Wait for me, Sparky!" Kai yelled before running out with end. Jay stopped at the entrance, already able to see three different paths they could go through.
Kai was able to catch up easily since Jay was contemplating which path to go down.
"Hey, Kai? Which path do you think we should go down?"
Kai took a moment to look down the paths from the entrance. Then he pointed towards the left path.
"My instincts say that path."
"Alright, let's go then." Jay responded, already walking down the path, with Kai right behind.

15 minutes later.....
"Ugh" Kai groaned in annoyance, kicking a corn stalk while he and Jay walked.
"It feels like we have been in here for.e.ver."
Jay had to agree with him. "It does take us less time than this to get out. Is it because they expanded the corn maze?"
"Probably... Look... another fork in the path..." They walked over to the seperation in the paths before a cardboard skeleton popped out from one of the paths. Catching a suprised yelp from the two ninja.
And an elemental surge through Jay.
Not a second later, the cardboard skeleton was burned to ashes. Jay and Kai looked at the ashes in the spot where the cardboard once laid.
"I-I'm sorry..."
"It's fine. I probably would have been the one who destroyed it if you didn't." Kai replied with a chuckle.
Jay closed ends eyes and took a second to catch ends breath from the skeleton. Kai said something, but Jay didn't notice. By the time Jay calmed down and opened ends eyes...
Kai wasn't there anymore.
Jay panicked slightly, but end calmed endself down again.
Ok, Kai must have went down one of the paths in front of them. Just.... which one?
Jay took a second to figure what path Kai could have gone down. End remembered Kai usually seemed to go down left paths, so that was probably a good direction to go.
Jay gripped onto ends backpack, kept it close, then went down the left-most path. Even though end didn't see Kai immediately down the path, Jay kept ends expectations high.
I'll see him soon. I'm sure that fireball went down this path.
Jay walked down the path, took another left, and hit a dead end. Some people were already there and turning around for hitting this dead end.
But Kai wasn't around.
D-Did I loose my buddy?? Did he ditch me???
Jay started to panic again, and end couldn't calm down this time. Jay frantically took end backpack off of them, and started to search for ends phone.
Come on... I know I brought it... Yes!
Jay grabbed the phone and pressed the power button.
.
.
.
W-why won't it turn on??
Jay shook the phone to see if was just lagging, or whatever. Something! Anything! Whatever the excuse was so end could fix it and call Kai or the other ninja.
Then it dawned on Jay.
It died.
Jay forgot to charge it for the trip here. Jay put the phone back in ends backpack and slung the backpack onto ends back, slowly.
As if it would stop ends mind from racing.
It's dead. I can't call anyone. Kai's gone. I'm not near anyone of my friends. I can't call them. I'm lost. I'm lost.
"Hey. You ok?"
Jay jumped slightly and turned to someone in a werewolf costume.
But, Jay wished end knew it was a costume.
It was such a convincing outfit that Jay was terrifed of who was in front of end.
Jay couldn't handle it, so end just ran.
End ran and ran back to that fork in the path and went down the middle path.
Don't follow me! Don't follow me! Are they chasing me?! They're gonna hurt me!!!
Jay felt ends glove get stuck on one of the dead corn stalks, but less then a second, ripped the glove off the sharp leaves.
It was enough to bring Jay back into the moment and stop end from running.
Jay took notice a strange feeling on ends hand, but kept that to the back of ends mind. End went back to walking down the paths, so end could try to find an exit or maybe the ninja.
Every prop that jumped out at Jay in the path would be made into ashes from ends element.
Better safe than sorry.

I just wanna get out of here......
No one Jay passed seemed to notice ends panic.
But, why would they?
Jay was wearing a mask so no one could notice end crying from ends stress.
Jay just looked like a reasonable, mature teen who wanted to dress up for the holidays.
When it was nothing like that.
Jay felt like a small, scared kid.
Someone who just wanted to be back home and to relax on the couch with their friends, watching halloween movies that weren't as scary as the costumes people were wearing around them.
Jay wanted to be in ends warm house, that wouldn't have things jump out at end everytime end turned a corner.
Jay walked up to the fourth fork in the path since the one that end and Kai were last at. End just decided to go down the path that was on the right.
Walking towards it though, two killer, bloody clowns jumped out, scaring Jay to the point of making end scream for the first time that night in true terror.
"AHHHHHHH!!! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!!!"
End might have electrocuted them if end wasn't so intent on running away. Jay ran towards the other path trying to get away from those killers.
I'm gonna die!!! I don't wanna die!!!!
End ran down the path, tripping over ends own feet, then turned to the right down the only way the path went.
But it was a dead end.
With no one around.
No witnesses.
The perfect place to be killed.
No. No! No!! No!! I'm going to die here!! I'm gonna die without seeing my friends again!!!!
Jay couldn't handle it all.
Everything was cold.
Everything was dark.
Everyone and everything was scary.
Jay's legs were sore.
Ends hand was hurt for some reason.
End felt like a little baby.
So weak.....
So vulnerable....
Jay threw of ends mask, exposing ends disgusting crying. Jay started to try and wipe off ends tears and end fell to the ground.
Jay leaned against the corner of that dead end as if end could hide in the shadows. Hopefully those clowns wouldn't find end again.
Jay was too distracted from ends thoughts to think about grabbing end comfort items in ends backpack.
Jay was also too distracted to hear the footsteps coming towards end.
"Hey there, little guy..."
Jay jolted and moved ends hands out from ends face to look up at who was in front of end. It was too dark for Jay to see who was in front of them.
That made start to Jay panic more.
"Go *hic* Go away! D-Don't kill m-m-me!!" Jay held ends hand out with ends element activated, ready to keep them away for good.
"We aren't going to hurt you..." Jay didn't really believe them. End looked up at the two people in front of end, and they didn't seem harmful.
Jay still couldn't see them well, but ends lightning was enough for end to see that they weren't monstrous killers. Jay lowered end hand and ends element wasn't activated anymore.
"C-C-Chu Pwomisss??"
One of them bent down next to Jay to ends eye level. Still couldn't see them well. Then, that person held out their pinkie.
"I pinkie promise, if you are willing to join in such a strong promise." The way they sounded so bold made Jay chuckle and end decided to to take their hand and give back the pinkie promise.
"S-So... who awre chu? I don't ssssee chu in dark..."
"I can't actually see you either. Can you get the flashlight, darling?"
"Oh course, honey." The person still standing up grabbed the backpack that Jay didn't notice them wearing. They scrounged around the backpack until they grabbed the flashlight.
They turned it on and focused the beam of light to the ground so it wouldn't hurt anyone's eyes. It was enough for them to see each other at least.
The first thing Jay noticed that they were those scary clowns earlier, but their masks weren't on anymore. End could see who they actually were.
And they could see Jay without ends mask, as well.
"Jay????"
"M-Mom?! Dad?!?"
Jay was all of a sudden forced into a strong hug with Edna, the one who did the pinkie promise.
"Oh, babyboyyyyy. I missed you so muchhhh. We need to visit more. I'm so sorry that we made you feel scared."
Jay was so fucking confused....
"Why awre chu hewre?"
"Well, it is the most popular festival around these days." Ed replied, sitting down next to Jay and setting the flashlight on the ground for them to still see each other.
"And they needed help with more recruits for the jobs here and we did need some more money to buy candy to give out to kids."
Jay hugged ends mom back, and just wanted to cry into her shoulder.
"Chu didn't n-need to ta'e amother jo-o-ob..."
"It was only for two days, little guy. It wasn't going to be forever."
"But isn't it sssstwessfull??"
Edna smiled, "No, it's a lot of fun! Especially here, it's so scary here and there are so many nice people here!"
"Chu aren wying?"
"I wouldn't lie about how I feel, kiddo." She brought her hand to Jay's head and played with ends curly hair.
"How old do you feel?"
"I-I-I'm fouw.."
Jay tried to lift ends hand up to play with Edna's hair as well, but then end winced in pain and grabbed ends own hand.
"Honey!! Are you ok?"
"What happened?"
Ed grabbed Jay's wrist to not touch what was in pain and brought it over to his eyeline. He grabbed the flashlight with his other hand and shined it on ends hand.
He didn't have a good view of the state of Jay's hand with ends glove, so Ed took it off. Jay used end other hand to grab the glove and observe it.
"It wripped..." Jay wanted to cry. "I'm sssso cwumsssy..."
Edna gripped Jay more tightly in their hug.
"Jay, it's ok. Accidents happen."
"B-but... Thisss ou-oufi was fwom my fwiend...."
Nya bought this outfit for end and end fucking ripped it. Of course the only things Jay broke were gifts ends friends gave to end.
"Don't worry, when we get out of this scary maze, I can sew it up for you." Jay smiled and gave her a side hug.
"Jay, do you remember hurting your hand at one point today?"
Jay took a moment to think on it.
"M-my gwove got ssstuk on a stwalk... It kinda felt bwad....."
"Well, seems it was enough to make a cut-"
"What?!" Jay yelped in panic, pulled ends hurt hand in front of end and freaked out at the sight of blood on ends hand.
Maybe Jay's adult self could handle fights and blood on the ninjas' missions, but ends little self couldn't.
Jay burst into tears and end gripped tightly onto Edna's shirt.
"It hur's!!! I don' like it!!!!" Edna gently gripped Jay's hand so they could treat it.
"It's ok, my little bunny" Jay nuzzled against her shoulder to try and not focus on what they had to do. Ed went into his backpack and grabbed a small first aid kit.
"I don't have water to clean the cut. Do you have water in your backpack?"
"Mhmmm"
Ed slowly pulled Jay's backpack off of end to not overwhelm end. Then, he opened it and searched for a water bottle.
He grabbed a couple of other things as well. He set those of onto the side and opened the bottle.
"Ok. I'm going to clean your hand now. Are you ok with that?"
Jay gripped more tightly onto Edna's shirt with ends spare hand, keeping ends eyeline away from ends cut.
"I-I-I'm wead-dyy.."
Jay felt the water and slight sting on ends hand and end let out a whimper.
"It's ok, sweetie. I'm right here" Jay felt the sting last until something pressed against the cut and stuck there.
A simple bandaid that ends parents packed up.
Ed grabbed the other things he originally got from Jay's bag.
A navy blue mask with yellow stars, a blue-and-pink cotton candy pacifier, a curly-haired bear plush, and a small red blanket.
He wrapped the blanket around end then handed the plush over to Jay.
Gasp
"Honey!!"
Jay gripped the bear tightly into ends arms. End gestured to the pacifier still in Ed's hand.
"Can hav's baba?"
"Of course," Ed responded,handing the pacifier and mask over to Jay. Jay put the pacifier in ends mouth then Edna helped cover ends mouth with the mask.
"Are you feeling better?"
Jay nuzzled up against the plush, "mhmmm!"
"Now, I think it's time for us to get up and leave the maze. You ready to leave?"
Jay nodded ends head. Edna helped Jay get up onto ends feet. Ed got up then grabbed their backpacks. He put his own backpack on and Edna put on Jay's.
While they walked back down the path, Edna grabbed Jay's mask that end threw earlier. Then she stealthily put the mask into Jay's backpack.
Then Edna went to look for something in it. She grabbed something and pulled it out.
It was Jay's phone.
She tried to turn it on, but it seemed to be dead.
"Hey, are your friends here, Jay?"
Jay stopped, with ends parents following suit. End grabbed ends mask and pacifier then pulled them out.
"Mhmm. We wen' into the ma'e toge'her."
"Did you get seprated up from each other?"
"I was wi' fireboi... I thin' he wen' ahead witho' wealising I was behin'...."
"So, did you try to call your friends, but it died?"
Jay let out a sniffle.
"Mhmmm..." end started to cry. Ed gripped Jay and hugged end.
"We'll call Kai and inform him on where you are."
"O-ok, I hope he oka'"
"He'll be so relived knowing you are safe"
Ed picked his phone from his backpocket and started to dial Kai's number.

"Jay!!! Is that- oh, h-hi Ed..."
He sounded incredibly worried.
"Hey, Kai. Are you looking for Jay?"
"Yes!!!! Please tell me you know where end could be?!?!"
"Jay's ok. Ends with us."
"Fuck, yes! Thank the First Master! Thank you!! Please!! Where are you?!""
"Don't worry. We'll be on our way."
They talked a bit more about where each other were in the maze since Kai was still in the maze on the search for Jay.
Kai said he had found Zane and Lloyd, let them know what happened, and all of them were buddied up looking for Jay.
"Ok. Ok... I'll s-see you s-soon. We'll stay where we are.."

2 mintues later
"Ok. Now we take a right here and..."
There they were! Kai, Lloyd, and Zane were all there, talking with each other. Kai seemed to be little since he was squishing his pink fox plush in a hug.
"Ka'!!!" Jay ran forward, down the path, right into Kai's arms, both of them dropping their plushies.
"Jay!!" Kai hugged end back. Zane and Lloyd soon joined the hug. Jay glanced towards Kai and could see his puffy eyes.
Zane and Lloyd soon backed out of the hug. Kai stayed connected to Jay.
"It's good to know your safe, Jay."
"Agreed"
"I'm so zowwy for weaving you Jay.... I didn' mean too...." Kai started to tear up.
"It ok fireboi. Chu didn' wanna have it happe'"
Kai back out of the hug and looked at Jay with a fearful look.
"Did-Did I make chu wegwess?! Waz tha' my fault?!?"
"No! No! It wasss the monssstersss!"
"C-chu wouldn' of h-have to face them awone thou if it wazn't for mee..."
Edna walked over to Kai and hugged him. Kai started to cry into her shoulder.
"It's ok baby boi. You couldn't have planned this happening."
"I-I'm-I'm zowwy!!!!"
Jay sprinted back to Kai and forced endself into the hug with them.
"It's oka' Ka'. Don' be sowwy!"
Jay took the blanket end had and wrapped it around Kai's shoulders. Kai clung onto the blanket for comfort. Jay hugged Kai again.
"I hewe. I safe fireboi..."
Kai nuzzled up against Jay.
"O-okay.. I'm gwad you'we zafe."
Kai pulled out of the hug and walked over to Ed and Edna.
"Tank chu zo much for findimg emd."
"Well, of course, baby boi" Ed replied, petted Kai's messy hair.
"I hope you feel better darling." Edna said. Lloyd walked over to them.
"Well, I have the directions to the exit, so let's get out of here, you cute babies."
Kai walked to Lloyd and leaned against them.
"Bye bye Mrz. and Mizter. W-walker."
"We'll go back to our post! Stay safe!" Ed responded before walking back down the path with Edna.
