Everyone needs a good ol’ rebellion once in a while. Especially when you grow up on a diet of kosher Kim Chi and matzah with a side of bibimbap at Chanukah. It’s like the two weirdest food cultures mashed together… All I wanted was some bacon and eggs like normal kids. 

Yeah I’m cool with...not having any of that.

I just grew up knowing I was part Jewish and never really did anything with it. That was my own decision, though. Thank god my mom never got into our culture’s stereotypical food thing past, you know, actually being able to season things. And we do have some bomb ass mac and cheese during Thanksgiving dinner. And all holiday dinners. Because my mom makes the best mac and cheese.

On the way back to my dorm this morning some asshole had the nerve to tell me how embarrassing it must be for me to have to do a “walk of shame,” despite the fact that I was just coming back from an early morning library visit - though I don’t see how it’d be his business either way, not to mention it’d take a lot more than walking home after a hook-up to embarrass me. People are morons, and I haven’t had enough coffee yet this morning to deal.

Okay bless. I’ll be honest, I’d rather look at birds from the comfort of my bed, because going outside is effort, but I still super love them.

My original thoughts on experimenting didn’t include drugs, but hey, this is the last time to try new things before you’re forced to become an adult.

I’m definitely not saying that you have to do it or anything, but college is a great time for experimenting. That’s what I’ve been told. And that’s what I’ve done for the last few years. Might as well enjoy what you can.
