I find the concept of growing in love so much prettier than love at first sight?? like one day you look at someone and you suddenly realize you see them in a different light than you did the night before. that’s falling.
| get off the roof |
Because treating people fairly often means treating them differently.
This is something that I teach my students during the first week of school and they understand it. Eight year olds can understand this and all it costs is a box of band-aids.
I have each students pretend they got hurt and need a band-aid. Children love band-aids. I ask the first one where they are hurt. If he says his finger, I put the band-aid on his finger. Then I ask the second one where they are hurt. No matter what that child says, I put the band-aid on their finger exactly like the first child. I keep doing that through the whole class. No matter where they say their pretend injury is, I do the same thing I did with the first one.
After they all have band-aids in the same spot, I ask if that actually helped any of them other than the first child. I say, “Well, I helped all of you the same! You all have one band-aid!” And they’ll try to get me to understand that they were hurt somewhere else. I act like I’m just now understanding it. Then I explain, “There might be moments this year where some of you get different things because you need them differently, just like you needed a band-aid in a different spot.”
If at any time any of my students ask why one student has a different assignment, or gets taken out of the class for a subject, or gets another teacher to come in and help them throughout the year, I remind my students of the band-aids they got at the start of the school year and they stop complaining. That’s why eight year olds can understand equity.
I dunno I guess he wanted to die 🤔

V Route in a nutshell
Another Story Phone Call Guide
Tired of spending HG calling Ray and V when they don’t pick up? Me too! So I decided to sacrifice oodles of time and hourglasses to make you a nice spreadsheet detailing when the characters actually pick up their phone.
This is a work-in-progress. I’m not actually done playing through V’s route yet (I considered buying a day in advance but a) I don’t really have time to go through more than one chatroom every few hours, and b) I have sunk a positively ridiculous amount of HG into just phone calls alone), so this guide is only updated when I actually get the calls. I also haven’t finished filling out the chatroom titles, but I’ll get around to that later.
About the Guide:
I miss chatrooms, too. I jumped into Day 1 late so I don’t have many of those calls, either. So this guide is not a guarantee that the characters will pick up at every single time I’ve listed they pick up; it’s simply a list of the time when they picked up for me. Most of the time, it should be the same for others, but when I’ve missed a chatroom, sometimes calls are delayed and it may not be 100% accurate
That said: I appreciate help! If you’ve got information on a day that I haven’t filled out, please leave a comment! Together we can help more people get a chance to listen to more of our favourite characters ^^
And if you notice that something in my spreadsheet is wrong, please let me know! I’ll change it as soon as I can :)
Edit: If you’re thinking “I’ve called the characters but don’t remember when they picked up”, something you might be able to do is load up the file where you made those calls and look at your call log. It’ll tell you the day and time you made the call. Of course, this is going to be harder for people with tons and tons of phone calls to sift through, and if you bought days in advance it won’t be useful at all (since you could have called a character at 2pm real time but after an 8pm chatroom and it will show up in your phone log as 2pm, not 8pm). But any help is appreciated, if you’re willing!
How to Use It:
Each Day is in a separate tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet
There’s a legend on Day 1: basically a ‘-’ means I called them but they didn’t pick up, and a ‘x’ means I got to talk to them. Incoming means that character called me, and Outgoing means I called that character
If anything in the Outgoing column is blank, it’s because I didn’t try to call that character (so it’s possible that they might pick up; I haven’t tried)
I mention important things in the Notes section, like whether I missed a chatroom or if there were any bugs, etc.
That about covers it. I’ll probably make a new post when this guide is completed. I hope this helps you out!

Small V Route Answer Guide
Hi guys! I know that, sometimes, the V Route can be kind of confusing! That’s because the route itself goes through the stages of grief (from what I’ve seen). V himself varies with his answers as you go through, so I’mma help with trying to get the best answers and most hearts! Might be some spoilers in here, so I’ll try to keep what I know spoiler free! Though, if you still do not like it, everything will be under the cut!
