I've actually always felt that compared to Krueger & Nikto, Nikto & Minotaur feel more like a duo suited for the Clash lane 🧐 Of course, now that they've been on the same team for a while and spent a lot of time together, their relationship has definitely improved. I just think their dispositions are fundamentally at odds, whereas Krueger and Nikto don't strike me as the flamboyant type... They're more like the cautiously calculating and completely "self-contained" kind — people who prioritize the individual. So even when they're in opposition, it tends to feel more like a stalemate. Or maybe my interpretation of Krueger is just different from the general consensus. The way I see him, he's the strong, silent, tumbleweed type 😗

But back to the point... just because N&M are on decent terms now doesn't mean they can't throw hands again 😋 To me, there's a bit of a "from enemies to friends" dynamic between them. Minotaur is more aggressive, while Nikto is often a switch between offense and defense (defaulting to a defensive stance). A lot of the time, it's like... Minotaur might understand some of Nikto's sore spots and tries his best to avoid them, but it's inevitable that he'll step on a landmine sometimes. And Nikto gives absolutely no quarter when that happens. Then Minotaur's attitude is basically like: Oh my god, why is he so impossible to please?!

In contrast, Krueger is probably a lot more perceptive about these things. At the same time, he likely knows exactly where the line is. So when conflict arises, if he wants to strike back, he's more inclined to choose a razor-sharp verbal jab — maximizing his own interests. Similarly, M&N are more likely to settle things with their fists.

If the three of them — M, N, and K — were a trio, it would be absolutely hilarious. They really do have a lot of shots together. On the return trip from a mission, I feel like M would be the type to actively strike up a conversation with K, and K just so happens to be the type who won't initiate a chat, but as long as the questions aren't too ridiculous, he'll respond calmly enough. That's really cute. It's not out of the question for the two of them to stand off in the distance and gossip about N either.

Although Nikto is unlikely to initiate a conversation, the nice thing is that he does have his own sense of humor ()

N：Have you seen it?

K：No.

N：That's it. You're welcome.

K：（wtf）
