she graduated from high school at 17, and studied at stanford.
she married her husband, leonard because she got pregnant with oscar.
she met dr brenner while he was giving a lecture at her school, and fell madly in love with him. he too had read about her works on child psychiatry and asked her to work with him.
all the doctors and experiments know her by another name: dr. serena montgomery. serena is her middle name, and montgomery is her mother's last name.
her husband knows nothing.
she had an affair with dr. brenner for many years until in fact his supposed death in 1983. (it was an unhealthy obsession she had for him and should not be romanticized)
