viktor sniffled while staring out of the window. the snow. he missed it so much, but it left such a bitter taste in his mouth. when he was younger, he thought that coming to america was going to be different. people were going to be less harsh and that more friends will have his back. surprise, surprise. people are still shitty but at least he has friends. friends that are probably temporary. he hears the door open behind him before turning around and looking who was entering. maybe this wasn’t the prime location to have a breakdown in. his eyes and nose red from five minutes ago, he slowly turned back towards the window. “hey.” came out more like a whisper, he thought that he would at least greet her as if everything was casual.
lindsey wandered around the house, bored as ever. suddenly the brilliant idea of bothering vik came to mind and she immediately strolled along to his room and turned the doorknob slowly, looking around to see he was inside. she smiled once she saw him turning around and then immediately frowned at the sad look on his face. she let herself in and shut the door behind her, walking over towards vik, “hey cutie,” she teased, trying to lighten up the very obviously depressing mood that filled the room. she sat beside him, trying to get a good look at his face, but he had just turned his face, “why the long face, what’s wrong? not happy to see me?” she saw right through him, the usual vik would say ‘lindsey.’ or just tell her to go away.
