I’m a big fan of the idea that Marine spoiled Sterling and Burst absolutely rotten and now must deal with the consequences lol

Because they’re notably more selfish than their parents they would absolutely pester Marine to take them sailing or go on an adventure or literally just anything to take advantage of her ship

It’s your own fault Marine, you made hefty promises to greedy children. Of course they’ll cash in as young adults!

Anyways I have this headcanon that Silver hangs out in Blaze’s office specifically to keep out visitors if he thinks she seems tired. Nine times out of ten he even convinces her to take a break because ‘there’s not much to do today’.

I also like to think he started doing this because he absolutely did not have the head for her paperwork (he’s smart but not that kind of smart) and couldn’t risk fucking up something potentially important, so this is the next best thing 💜🤍

ANYWAYS I personally like the idea of Silver and Blaze never getting married, but IN A SCENARIO WHERE THEY DO GET MARRIED I think it’d be outdoors in a tiled garden, bright and sunny. Theyd be all smiles, probably can’t stop giggling. Silver would be so excited he’s vibrating lol

I wanted wedding clothing for them to look unique and also matching! Including the matching red eye shadow and eye liner, I just feel like that fits?? Idk I’m putting way too much thought into the fashion in this country WHEEZE

FOR FIRST WORDS!!

I think Sterling would have been an incredibly greedy child and constantly snatching up anything that caught her eye, so her first word was MINE!!

As for Burst, he was always a mild child but if he got worked up his tantrums were disastrous and flammable, so it fit that it was during one tantrum he finally vocalized ‘NO!!’

Oh man it’s so hard to pick, I love the whole thing to bits (tell me why the FUCK this thing had me in tears???)

I love the style breakdown for sure, the visuals for rise are right up my alley and I LOVE getting to see all the little pieces (I’m also a line work fiend so no surprise lol)

The expressions are also a fave, the little panels from when they broke the teapot as kids are excellent and I’m so glad to have them as stills now!

Ofc I loved getting to read what the VAs had to say, these are my fave versions of these characters and seeing how loved they were by their voices and the writers was so so sweet, I’m glad they got to give an actual goodbye (something I know many canceled series don’t get to do) but it’s so shitty they were given so little time to wrap everything up. But that’s often how things made with love end up treated by networks

I’m happy rise exists, I’m glad I got to experience it, and I’m so so glad to have this book
